What if I'm nontraditional and have to be working full time while preparing for the MCAT? Is it okay to do medium intensity for 6 months and then hard-core as much as possible a couple months before taking the test?
yes it is possible, I just took the test on June 19th (studied for 5 months during school and work) then I went hard 1 month before the test. I got a 515 and am very happy with it. Just make sure you are accountable and actually study for a little bit every day when you do medium intensity. I went to classes then came home and studied every day. It is definitely possible. @@MindOfSheesh The secret? Perhaps because NOBODY studied for the MCAT. In 1950 only sons of rich people and Doctors went to Medical School, so selection was not very competitive. The process gradually became more egalitarian up through the 1970s. As more students realized that Medical School was an achievable goal, things got more competitive.

Memm definitely helps me remember things with space and spatial recall effect (learned that term from memm). Has helped me so far
NOTE: Summer studying + MCAT is PERFECTLY FINE for D.O. schools, as long as you have your primaries in by the end of October.

Imo 3 months is not enough with this new exam. That was for the old version, now 5-6 months is recommended!
