I know it’s been difficult but I really appreciate how you’ve documented your grieving journey. It feels like as pet owners we’re encouraged to ‘get over it’ really quickly because “it’s just a dog” even when we’ve spent 10+ years together and formed a special bond, understood all their little quirks and gone through tough times together… It really means a lot to see somehow treat pet loss with the respect and empathy it deserves. I would frequently burst into tears at random, even at work or in public after I lost my boy of 14 years. It’s so demoralising feeling like you have no one who will take your pain seriously. Truly the definition of unconditional love. You become the sun in their world. A pet companion's passing is never of its choosing. The bond is for life. That is why cruelty, abuse and neglect for a pet or any animal is a particularly heinous crime.

It’s too late now to evacuate, traffic is really backed up. I’d love to have your 11 C. We’re at 75 and it’s after 11pm! I love cold weather! I can’t wait until it finally gets cold. @@annelieshoornik thank you! Every one is fine! The houses have no damage. Lots of twigs, leaves, grass and trash (from people gutting their house after hurricane Helene 2 weeks ago!) is around. Not a direct blow here Lee county but we did have winds of around 80 and gusts higher. God Bless😇

Hi Jamie, sorry I’m late but we had a tornado last evening (Sunday). I lost power until this afternoon. So no television, phone, or Wi-Fi. There was some flooding, trees ripped up and some homes were damaged. This tornado came out of nowhere! Our new tornado siren went off and nothing is scarier. Our phone warnings even went off which is new. I love how you gave your family those beautiful rings..that was so thoughtful of you. Granny has my favorite! Thank you for the lovely video ❤️💙🥰
So glad everyone liked their ring. Tennessee where they were made, and that area of the USA has been devastated by hurricane Helene. Please pray for them. So many roads and bridges and towns have been washed away. Mules and horses are being utilized to take supplies to those stranded in the hills. The only other means of transportation is by foot, four wheeler, and helicopter. It will take years.

Sharing all the treats and such with dogs in need like that I am sure is making Sherpa smile and dance around knowing your love for him is still there and being shared with others that deserve it and that just because he is now looking over you that you still have love in your heart.
Hi Jamie, I hope you're doing well. I still cry every time I see one of your videos, Sherpa was very much loved by everyone, and he will be missed. I have an amazing husky as well, and she is the kindness soul just like Sherpa was. I can not imagine my life without her. Thank you for sharing Sherpa's life with us. God bless you ❤

It worked. The short clip of how the rings were made appeared in the upper lefthand corner of the screen. Fascinating process. I think it was the perfect thing to do with Serpa's ashes.

We got videos and you have loads of pictures Jamie. It's very hard to get over the loss of a lovely friend but you have such dignity and this shows when you gave everyone a ring each. We will all miss Sherpa too. But he's always in our hearts.❤❤
