I did that in Cornwall. My husband was very unimpressed when I woke him at 3am to tell him we were leaving. I'd already packed without waking him. He is a heavy sleeper and my imagination is too active 😂
After my husband died I had visits from him when I was aware of his presence they were not dreams and happened when I was struggling the most I woke up feeling that someone was behind me in my bed I froze because I didn't want it to end. It doesn't happen now and it's been 8 years since he died. I think they come when you are most in need.

One night i was having a dream when i was younger that i was back talking to my mom and before i got in trouble i woke up and looked to the left and a ghostly shadowy figure of a head was there then suddenly it moved and disappeared. My family says it was my mom.
That is a brilliant skill that you have to be able to present these videos/vlogs in such a way that I feel as if I am there with you experiencing the impact of these historical buildings, sights, and the atmospheric atmosphere that you presented in this video. I was holding my breath for a lot of todays video waiting and willing something to happen, just for the fun of it. 😜 I can only imagine the work that went into the editing of them, so they make that impact. I really hope that you are aware of how talented you are. Really enjoyed them. 🤗🤗💜

You didn’t hear any other guests because you were the only one…in fact the hotel hasn’t been open for over 100 years. It was the ghosts that haunt the hotel that are posing as staff. 😂😝
What a really charming little town! You never see biscuits at USA hotels. I love pubs with low beams and cosy fire places and cushy arm chairs. And the UK pub food! That sure looks good😊

When my Mother and Sisters visited Shrewsbury, they are fans of the ‘Brother Cadfael’ books, they stay at a spooky hotel that seemed to have a corridor that went past where the building should have ended. They avoided going into that part of the building. Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
Jamie, this is a fabulous series you're filming. So interesting and beautiful. I once stayed at The White Horse Inn unknowingly that it was haunted. Then early morning a knock happened at our door as well as my brother's door the next room over. When we went down for breakfast there were newspaper articles framed, hanging on the wall, explaining the history. Fascinating!
I lived in a haunted cottage in the 90s, the previous owners and their cats were frighten, it was the elderly gentleman who lived in the cottage, he asked me to " make me a cup of tea lass " i turned around and he sitting in his car.
Finally got to see whole video ❤ I'm hopeful that at your next destination you wake up to a huge bundle of fur cuddling up against you Lord Sherpa of course. Jamie, don't feel bad! Living people don't even come by my apartment, unless it's maintenance people. You need friends for that to happen.. I've lived in my apartment for nearly 4 years. Never have I ever had a "friend" come visit me. So, don't worry about it if a ghost doesn't visit you. :)

Helmsley is a great place to stay. It is near some fabulous tourist spots and of course is nestled in the fabulous North Yorks Moors National Park. My ex was from West Yorkshire and we regularly packed our rucksacks and went for long rambles around there. It is just so beautiful, rugged and majestic. Lots of traditional country pubs, little market towns, just a perfect weekend getaway or a weeks holiday. So pleased that you are experiencing the treasures of what we have up north. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else and I've travelled to 40 countries over the years😊

Lots of traditional country pubs, little market towns, just a perfect weekend getaway or a weeks holiday. So pleased that you are experiencing the treasures of what we have up north. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else and I've travelled to 40 countries over the years😊
