This is crazy what I'm going through I use to do drugs with my mom when I was 13 yrs old crack cocaine was our drug of choice now I'm trying get clean and I see how the demons are getting pissed off because they want me to get high it's crazy how the enemy uses those closest to you it's pretty scary but if your prepared with the word of God then it's not so hard I keep praying for her that she'll change one day anything is possible through fervent prayer and patience
Always remember...the devil has long been defeated..beaten. Jesus is stronger than DEATH...which is what the devil is. 💥The Resurrection accomplished our freedom. Fear not!
This message is very applicable to my life, and many I see around me. I resisted God for years because I knew what it would mean once I decided to take His hand and follow Him. I knew what kind of sacrifice I needed to make, and I didn't want to make it, because I was enjoying my "sin" too much at the time, even though my life and my soul felt empty. Once I decided to take His hand, everything changed. I changed. Some people even turned away from me, as Christ said they would. And now I am going through the biggest suffering of my life to date. I look at my loved ones, ignoring the knock on their door and rejecting the hand of God to pursue their own desires, which in their delusion they believe will fulfil and complete them, as I once did. And fleeing from Christ because they know what kind of transformation lies ahead... What kind of suffering awaits. Who wants to suffer? But Christ expects us to take up our cross willingly and suffer as He did. The kind of sacrifice He seeks is our life. It is a very hard teaching to accept. But there is no other way. This is where I come for peace. Real truth is identified by the comfort it brings in its wake, and if that truth is hard or harsh, one can always gain greater confidence in its authenticity when the sense one gets is antithetical to that prevailing world view. I am currently and only now after discovery, watching "The last kingdom" series. Alfred of Wessex, Uthred of Bebbanburg and all the rest of it. Actors in it, in all roles playing Christians seem to cross themselves, or make a sign of the Cross with three fingers joined 🤌 Almost in Orthodox Christian manner, although not Orthodox in entirety of the crossing process.

I've a question. My husband left me for another woman after 32 years. I went thru anger but i knew that was wrong. I've forgiven and prayed for God to forgive the both of them. I still weep, collapse and the pain of heart is unbelievable. I only want us all in heaven. In this religion must I be a victim soul and never experience companionship and love again? Please answer, I'm a traditional catholic and I love my worship.
Just recall and confess all that you can remember and just say for the sins I cannot remember from my youth.. or pray and ask for help remembering any sins that you may have forgotten and the lord is faithful he will show you the sins you are to confess, do not worry the lord sees that you want to confess all he knows your heart, just confess what you remember and ask him to help with the forgotten ones. My wife reposed five days ago. She died in the heart of the Church and her mysteries. Please pray for her soul, though I suspect we need her prayers more than she needs ours. Her last months of terminal illness were spent preparing for Paradise according to the teachings of the Orthodox Church. She smelt of myrrh when she reposed. Twenty witnesses smelled it when she reposed. What sorrowful joy we experienced.
To repose in such a manner is truly a gift. You will see your wife again. I hope our Lord comforts you in this time as I'm sure He comforts her. God bless you brother.

Sometimes I feel like I'm not getting it. I know when I sin and I pray and try to repent. It may be my antidepressants but I know I should feel more emotional when praying but I do not. I pray I'm not dishonoring Jesus in this way.

I've a question. My husband left me for another woman after 32 years. I went thru anger but i knew that was wrong. I've forgiven and prayed for God to forgive the both of them. I still weep, collapse and the pain of heart is unbelievable. I only want us all in heaven. In this religion must I be a victim soul and never experience companionship and love again? Please answer, I'm a traditional catholic and I love my worship.

Just recall and confess all that you can remember and just say for the sins I cannot remember from my youth.. or pray and ask for help remembering any sins that you may have forgotten and the lord is faithful he will show you the sins you are to confess, do not worry the lord sees that you want to confess all he knows your heart, just confess what you remember and ask him to help with the forgotten ones. My wife reposed five days ago. She died in the heart of the Church and her mysteries. Please pray for her soul, though I suspect we need her prayers more than she needs ours. Her last months of terminal illness were spent preparing for Paradise according to the teachings of the Orthodox Church. She smelt of myrrh when she reposed. Twenty witnesses smelled it when she reposed. What sorrowful joy we experienced.
To repose in such a manner is truly a gift.
You will see your wife again. I hope our Lord comforts you in this time as I'm sure He comforts her. God bless you brother.
