I watched a behind the scenes and they said this was never planned and that Frank’s voice just got louder over time and then Estelle raised hers and then they competed with each other for who could go louder
I love how Estelle is all enthusiastic even though she's full of it and Frank just deadpan shuts her down "who the hell did ya ever mention his hands to?"
I was just watching this ep on Comedy Central tonight, and when Frank said "Why'd you put the bananas in there?" I lost it. Jerry Stiller was incredible in this show.
I love that and the one where Steinbrenner just told them that George is dead and Frank’s first words are, “What the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for?!” 😂
My parents are literally George’s I love it lmao, just imagining Estelle with a Mexican accent and Frank as an old Midwestern guy and there’s my family
I mean this is just too brilliant. Who comes up with this kind of script…it’s just genius. No other words to describe it. Every character in Seinfeld was in itself a masterpiece.
my parents are nearly the same as George's...in their 60s & arguments start over practically nothing. I have to tell them to stop behaving like children.
You are so right! I've always thought Seinfeld was a great show because of all the good decisions they took along the year story, characters-wise, but this one was just outstanding.
Being forced to read a short story called "Hands" led me here. I had to hear the line, "Who the hell'd you ever mention his hands to?" Cannot tell you how dumb the story was and how awesome it is to hear Frank utter that line.
The character Estelle Costanza was played by the actress Estelle Harris. Her bday is 4-04-1928 and she's still alive today, 5-15-2017 at 89 yrs old. She was the voice of Mrs Potato Head in Toy Story.
Ironic that George kinda wanted his parents to die soon so that he'd get to be alone, only to realize that the actors portraying his parents are still alive today.
Pretty sad that all I have to share with is a comment 274 but yes watching this episode of George’s exquisite hands episode just makes me roll on the floor
The fact that George's parents can only communicate with each other by yelling, is fucking hilarious. They just kill me every time.
I watched a behind the scenes and they said this was never planned and that Frank’s voice just got louder over time and then Estelle raised hers and then they competed with each other for who could go louder
I just love how Frank just goes straight to yelling most of the time.
Jerry Stiller was the one who came up with the idea of shouting, and he and Estelle just ran with it. They were great on camera together.
Absolutely my friend
That was my house growing up
George’s parents had the most hilarious arguments. Lol
My personal favorite:
"Take my swim trunks. I won't need them."
"What does he want with your swim trunks?!"
"WHY SHOULD THEY GO TO WASTE?!!!"
Maybe don't say lol.
George Likes Bananas !!! This might be one of the funniest scenes from any episode. Does anyone know if there is a blooper real from this scene ?

Rest in peace Estelle, your phenomenal acting provided us with endless laughters. Thank you
I love how Estelle is all enthusiastic even though she's full of it and Frank just deadpan shuts her down "who the hell did ya ever mention his hands to?"
She is not full of it, someone in that episode says she always bragged about George having milky hands, cant remember who though...
"You never said milky white"
"I SAID MILKY WHITE!"
There has never been, nor will ever be, as brilliant a show as this masterpiece.
Peep show for the UK is like Seinfeld...but on a much higher level, and even more intelligent. You need to check it out.
FnA, more than 20 years after the GOAT show of all time, we R still entertained by this special show.
I've seen many episodes 20 times . I still watch them again . And there are so many jokes written in , they still get me laughing .
@@tigerskob Peep show as great , but I thoutgh The IT Crowd was better.

they're both insane already.
one of the BEST scenes. forgot about this one.
