I'm really glad that they replaced John Randolph, the original Frank, with Jerry Stiller, as he's much better suited. Does anyone know why they left one episode with Randolph and no other ones? He only appeared in the episode about the handicapped parking fiasco.

Jerry Stiller was an incredible comedian! He had great timing, vocal inflection and delivery and was able to keep his composure. He had been doing comedy with his wife for decades prior to delivering his breakout performance on Seinfeld. He was fantastic on King of Queens.
He’s a funny dude…the script and Jerry Stiller’s acting for the last scene, “drop you (George’s dad) like a bag of dirt” was so hilarious that Eliane kept the blooper reel going with her laughing outbursts and it looked like it was all they would get until they finally got a usable take for the show…
