    they play the average, retired parents so well that I totally forgot this was a show until the scene was over. The way they're dressed, how they talk and gesture, the setting and objects appearing in the background.... you just can't tell whether this is real or staged if you're seeing this for the 1st time. PERFECT acting and directing, right here!

    No way. I bought my own tomato sauce when I was 18 and still living at home, because my father would make a huge deal about only using a little. When I used it, and he started yelling, saying it was mine wasn't good enough. "It's the PRINCIPLE of it!" he said. Now that we're grown up, he uses a *mountain* of tomato sauce on his plate and has to hear us tell the story every time, haha.
