I love that comment. "2pm? That's my whole afternoon!" When you're unemployed you know you want a job, but your idea of free time is a bit different :P
RIP to Estelle and Jerry. The Greatest parents in TV history. Watching the pure craziness of these two has and will forever be an absolute delight. Thank you for the memories! Serenity Now and Forever! 💙💙🥲
The hostility between his parents is so deep it results in tossing napkins at each other from across the table. I had never noticed that before. God, I love this show !
they play the average, retired parents so well that I totally forgot this was a show until the scene was over. The way they're dressed, how they talk and gesture, the setting and objects appearing in the background.... you just can't tell whether this is real or staged if you're seeing this for the 1st time. PERFECT acting and directing, right here!
My father and I would frequently re-create this scene when I was out of work and living at home for a time. He always loved yelling “YOU CAN LOOK FOR SNEAKERS THE NEXT DAY!”
That brief moment where Frank smiles at George's display of knowledge makes ME want to smile; it is a rare occasion when the older Costanza is genuinely proud of his son.
It’s the beat just before Jerry lifts his hand and says “ya got the A” - and Jason’s immediate, annoyed reaction that gets me in stitches. It’s brilliant timing for both actors. RIP Jerry.
Mr. Stiller was a comic genius. He barely needs to say anything and I am in stitches. Consistently great no matter the role. The world lost a great one!!
i love how he's picking his teeth while he's trying to talk to his son about a difficult subject...there was no one better that could of played his father.
That's when you know you're unemployed. Being a grown adult & being told when you can look for sneakers. Especially if you ain't paying rent people are allowed to talk to you like a child.
Best thing about this scene is how Frank asks George if he knows about the cup sizes...and tells him anyway. You can see Jason almost losing it in the scene. I’ll bet it took forever to get a decent take... lol
No way. I bought my own tomato sauce when I was 18 and still living at home, because my father would make a huge deal about only using a little. When I used it, and he started yelling, saying it was mine wasn't good enough. "It's the PRINCIPLE of it!" he said. Now that we're grown up, he uses a *mountain* of tomato sauce on his plate and has to hear us tell the story every time, haha.
"What's going on in there?? You ask me to get a pair of underwear, I'm back in two seconds!" Every word that comes out of Frank Costanza is freaking hilarious. I wish Frank Costanza was my dad!
The absurdity of Frank's seemingly immovable conviction that he is right is what I find comical. When he said, "That's suprising". What was really behind those words was, "Oh wow, look at this, I'm wrong, that's suprising.".
"You know about the cup sizes and all? They have different cups." "Yeah... I-I know about the cups." "...You got the A, the B, the C, and the D. That's the biggest." "I know the D is the biggest. I based my whole life on knowing that the D is the biggest!" Greatest bra-dialogue exchange ever. Seinfeld was quite funny.
You know you have seen comedy genius when after the first time you see this scene you immediately pause the show and go find it on TH-cam so you can enjoy it with the internet.
The Costanza family could be a show in itself.
Jerry Stiller is the king, he plays the same crazy old man on King of Queens and it worked brilliantly.
@@hbkgreatestever RIP
I was just thinking that
It reminds me of my parents.
No. It couldn't. Theyre fine as bit players
Its the teeth picking when he asks about cup sizes that puts me on the floor every time. He was a true comic legend.
I know, that cracks me up too
Hands down the best touch to add to that dialogue and his delivery. Unreal instinct and overall actor.
Agree...and the deliberate way of itemizing the cup sizes. Gets me every time.
Hehehe
Bingo! It’s that relaxed, delivery with the toothpick- I am certain this took MANY takes to get a clean cut!
george costanza's parents are amazing in every scene
i started watching king of queens recently but only watch the episodes with arthur(jerry stiller) in them. he nails every scene
I like them to and jerry mum and dad as well
Yeah I love Frank's dramatic voise it is very funny
Yep they funny when they yell
This is so funny 😂😂😂 I love this one then anything
The scenes with George's parents are some of the best scenes in the show
Correction: one of the best scenes in the history of sit coms
@@fsalcidop That's better 😄
This is my favorite scene in the whole series.
YOU CAN LOOK FOR SNEAKERS THE NEXT DAY!
But I wanna pair now! 🥺
Like every dad in the WORLD 😂
Lol...."you got the A, the B, the C....." Jerry Stiller is hilarious.
The D. That’s the biggest
I know the D is the biggest. I’ve based my whole life on knowing that the D is the biggest
You got cups in the front, two loops in the back.
@@JohnAckerman93 It gets a lot bigger than D...
I love that comment. "2pm? That's my whole afternoon!" When you're unemployed you know you want a job, but your idea of free time is a bit different :P
I lose it when she yelled "you got ketchup on it!" Lmfao
Alfredo Proskauer best part lol
Perfect end to a perfect scene. As good as it gets anywhere, anytime.
Kaaptuch on it!
And then dipping the napkin in water so she can wipe it off.😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 metoo
Stiller's delivery when he starts talking about the cup sizes is gold. Gold, Jerry, GOLD!
Huh-HOOOO!
one of the most effortlessly clinical deliveries I've ever seen from a comedic actor - stiller da legend
The way he talks to George as if he's an idiot or a child. The way you're talked to when you live in your parents' house as an adult
RIP to Estelle and Jerry. The Greatest parents in TV history. Watching the pure craziness of these two has and will forever be an absolute delight. Thank you for the memories! Serenity Now and Forever! 💙💙🥲
I'd put them in a tie with Frank and Marie Barone.
You ask me to get a pair of underwear I'm back in two seconds.
So funny
@@blaakdeath8663 I agree.

this scene is gold, jerry! GOLD!
one of my favorite lines to say n real life..Gold Jerry!!
"so he'll go into the interview he wouldn't know what he'sTALKING ABOUT"
love how short-tempered Frank is
i like the fact that George's mother still cuts up the food for her little baby boy lol
One of my all-time favorite Seinfeld scenes. Rest in serenity, Frank.
And now Estelle.
@@juscogens5541 yeah 🥺
I love how this scene begins and ends with ketchup 😂
These little family moments explain SO MUCH, lol
My father and I would frequently re-create this scene when I was out of work and living at home for a time. He always loved yelling “YOU CAN LOOK FOR SNEAKERS THE NEXT DAY!”
I love George"s little passive-aggressive ketchup bottle smack.
That brief moment where Frank smiles at George's display of knowledge makes ME want to smile; it is a rare occasion when the older Costanza is genuinely proud of his son.
“Well it wouldn’t hurt to go in and be able to discuss it intelligently” is exactly something my father would say
This is kind of sweet. Frank not only got George an interview, he put in the effort to help him prepare.
It’s the beat just before Jerry lifts his hand and says “ya got the A” - and Jason’s immediate, annoyed reaction that gets me in stitches. It’s brilliant timing for both actors. RIP Jerry.
Yes! That placement of the toothpick and then that pause just before the line- such brilliant timing!
Now Estelle is reunited with him and Don Rickles
"what do you need all that ketchup for" LMAO I swear George can't catch a break
Im 40, I live with my parents and my name is George.
"this is my ketchup" 😂😂
Mr. E are you also unemployed like him?
Civilized people call it CATSUP!
Oh u want the Catsup? I'm gonne give it to you old Man!
Frank Costanza- an insane force of nature that can’t be reasoned or negotiated with.
"YOU CAN LOOK FOR SNEAKERS THE NEXT DAY!!!"
LOL.. I LOVE FRANK COSTANZA!!!
Mr. Stiller was a comic genius. He barely needs to say anything and I am in stitches. Consistently great no matter the role. The world lost a great one!!
He is the one that got Me watching The King Of Queens.
"You can look for sneakers the next day!" 😂😂😂😂😂
George is my favourite character on Seinfeld.
His parents are my next 2 favourite ones.
The whole family is priceless.
Who agrees that Seinfeld is the greatest TV show of all time? ♥♥♥
Raymond
George’s look when his mom says, ‘ he doesn’t know anything about bras’ 😂😅
One of the greatest scenes in Seinfeld.
RIP Jerry Stiller you absolute genius and gift to humanity 😢😢😢❤️
This is uncanny. It feels like I'm listening to my own parents ...
Yeah my family is funny to
"I base my whole life on knowing that the D is the biggest!"
i love how he's picking his teeth while he's trying to talk to his son about a difficult subject...there was no one better that could of played his father.
«could have»
This is easily one of the funniest scenes in the history of tv😂😂😂😂😂
Jerry Stiller was an absolute comedic genius.
I love the way they scream at each other, cracks me up
Jerry Stiller is AWESOME!
Man, Jerry Stiller is a legend.
awww...he really is/was....sorry we lost him!
The creaking of the table, the toothpick...all of it makes it so awkward. Comedy gold!
“2:00? That’s my whole afternoon!!”
As an unemployed man I know exactly how he feels
You can look for sneakers THE NEXT DAY!
Thats when I wake up when Im unemployed. Also why do they schedule these Job Fair's at hours when most unemployed people are sleeping?
R.I.P Estelle Harris and Jerry Stiller
0:36 You can look for sneakers THE NEXT DAY!!!!!
That's when you know you're unemployed.
Being a grown adult & being told when you can look for sneakers.
Especially if you ain't paying rent people are
allowed to talk to you like a child.
I actually laughed out loud when Frank started talking about the cup sizes. Great scene.
The abuse on george is just brutal and so funny 😂
Rest In Peace Jerry Stiller
these characters have such a great chemistry
"He doesn't know anything about bras."
LOL the look on George's face..
This whole scene is comedy gold!
Probably my favorite Frank Costanza scene😂. RIP Jerry Stiller
0:00 - 0:15 This is literally what living with your parents in adulthood is like.
Classic scene in tv history
Love when george taps the ketchup
Best thing about this scene is how Frank asks George if he knows about the cup sizes...and tells him anyway.
You can see Jason almost losing it in the scene. I’ll bet it took forever to get a decent take... lol
"what do you need all that ketchup for" is one of my favorite frank costanza lines.
"You ask me to get a pair of underwear, I'm back in two seconds."
It’s hard to say which is better, the writing or the performances! Seinfeld can be watched over and over again - it is always funny!
The shouting of Mr. Costanza when it’s so unnecessary always kills me
What a loving dad. ❤
One of the greatest scenes in comedy history...
My name is Christian. I'm 28, unemployed and live with my parents. This is my life.
28 is nothing. George was meant to be pushing 40. That's much worse.
Did things get better? I'm 27, unemployed, and live with my parents. At least I'm not bald. :P

What are your set of skills?
i have a very particaul set of skills, skills that i have acquired over a very long carrer
flisko so you have no skills?
I love Frank and Estelle so much. I wish they had been spun off into their own series
Jerry Stiller was a comedy genius. every scene he does in Seinfeld is gold
i bought this ketchup just so i could have as much as i want
"You got ketchup on it!" Easily the funniest line in this clip XD
The actors in this show were a million times better than modern day sitcoms
Love George expression on his face when he says"yeah yeah I know about the cups"!
i love it when he yells.
The way She pronounces the word "Bra" is just funny to me.
Braaaawwww
Could you guys believe me if I told you my parents are exactly like that?
Yes :). You gotta feel for George, still be told what to do by his parents...I have the T-Shirt :(.
***** We should form a club :).
Ahmed Andijani Absolutely!
I'm in.
I would bcuz so are mine...my life started to make a lot more sense when i realized this
This has to be in top 5 scenes of the entire series.
No way. I bought my own tomato sauce when I was 18 and still living at home, because my father would make a huge deal about only using a little. When I used it, and he started yelling, saying it was mine wasn't good enough. "It's the PRINCIPLE of it!" he said. I swear, I think people get married amd have kids so they can have the exclusive privilege of bullying/patronizing humans legally.
Eating a meal together like a loving family
The way Frank just starts rattling off the cup sizes is absolutely hilarious.
When the mother says, he doesn't know anything about brahs. So funny!
My parents are just like frank and Estelle, people always think they are fighting. Yet they are married for over 40 years
So are mine, my dad is always yelling when he talks, like in this scene when Frank yells at George, YOU CAN LOOK FOR SNEAKERS THE NEXT DAY! LOL!
Seinfeld,my favorite show!!Still going strong after all those years! It's a show about nothing!
It's the best!
I just gave you a +¹ because you are hot
The way Jerry Stiller shouts is absolutely perfect
"What's going on in there?? You ask me to get a pair of underwear, I'm back in two seconds!"
Every word that comes out of Frank Costanza is freaking hilarious. I wish Frank Costanza was my dad!
Probably my fav scene of the entire series.
R.I.P Jerry Stiller 😕😕😕♥️
2:42 kills me every time.
The absurdity of Frank's seemingly immovable conviction that he is right is what I find comical. When he said, "That's suprising". What was really behind those words was, "Oh wow, look at this, I'm wrong, that's suprising.".
I actually started watching Seinfeld for the first time in a few months ago, this is one of my favorite seen so far!
This scene was absolutely priceless. "You know about the cup sizes and all?" Still gets me, LMAO!! 🤣
“You got ketchup on it!” 😂🤣😂🤣
Rest In Peace, Mrs Costanza 😞.
This is my ketchup. I bought this ketchup just so I could have as much as I want 😂
"You know about the cup sizes and all? They have different cups."
"Yeah... I-I know about the cups."
"...You got the A, the B, the C, and the D. That's the biggest."
"I know the D is the biggest. I based my whole life on knowing that the D is the biggest!"
Greatest bra-dialogue exchange ever. Seinfeld was quite funny.
Every word of this comedy is a fun to listen to and enjoy 😉

Frank and Estelle is the best couple ever portrayed on TV!
R.I.P. Jerry Stiller
“...2 o’clock” “That’s my whole afternoon!”
I cannot never put a toothpick in my mouth without re-enacting this whole scene. And it always starts with ”you know about the cups sizes?”
No wonder George was so messed up...believe me I can relate.
Such a healthy family relationship.
R.I.P. Jerry :(
I'm not saying, go to the library and read the whole history, but it won't kill you to know a little bit about it.
