Oh wow that amber dome and enamel ring is a special one indeed. Brutalist Gold on the radar now. Thank you Jason for another great video with excellent information :) Trying to catch up LOL.
I love how you show "not tell". I was happy that I agreed with you on the definitions--I have learned over the years! I have a large gold Brutalist and coral ring I adore but it hasn't found a new home yet. Glad to know Brutalist will be growing in value!🙂
Another banger show and tell. I love this style jewelry and have a few pieces. There is just something that speaks to me in the design, it feels very unique. Some of it gives steampunk vibes and others seem derived from nature or creatures of the sea. More, more, more please and thank you!
I went and looked up brutalist architecture, I always thought that certain buildings were modernist. Once again you have taught me something new❤ thank you for sharing you knowledge and making it so fun.
Hi buddy! You are welcome! I was right there with you until I researched the difference between moderne and brutslist buildings! I love the designs!!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
Wow what a treat finding your channel! I learned so much. I got into brutalist through Rick Owen’s wife’s Michele Lamy’s Hun jewelry collection but this is incredible 😮
Wow! I truly love the rawness of brutalist jewelry and it feels so honest. My favorite are the ones that remind me of being under the sea. The two rings you shared looks like coral branches to me and I’m always a sucker for all the yellow gold 😍 and it makes me so happy to see my gift in your hand and hear it’s gonna be a lucky piece for you ❤️ another fabulously educational time with you and executed video. Thank you! I will be keeping my eye out for more brutalist pieces!
I'm here 7 hours late.😊 T shirt idea. " Sit on my 🌵 " after your cactus bakerlight. I love brutalist jewellery. Thanks for your time and knowledge making this video. ❤ Sue
I absolutely love, love, love Brutalism. It grabs me. I tend to paint (when painting in abstract or expressionist) in a Brutalist style. I too love the emerald ring, yet would like to see it with some mine cut diamonds in place of the emerald. I'm aways looking forward to any recommendations and education from you, Jason. Hope I catch a live sale soon.
Thank you for a wonderful class in brutalism! You are the best, your love of history echoes through time itself. Another Jasonism T-shirt saying that I would wear is "Are you kidding me?" So grateful for you ❤❤❤❤
Dear Jason - happy new year, to you and Jeremy! I wrote a comment - my first in a while - after watching one of your recent Bully Run live sales on playback... but I don't think you saw it. Love me some brutalist pieces. Jaggedy, ruffty-tuffty, in-yer-face, challenging, unapologetic, and utterly beautiful. As ever - the pieces you show, and the knowledge you share, are scrumptious and fascinating ❤
KATIE RAE!!!! THANK YOU.. .I MIGHT HAVE MISSED THAT COMMENT.......ITS SO HARD TO KEEP UP WITH THE CHATS AND I DON'T WATCH THE SALE PLAYBACKS.... YOU ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. LOVE YA ❤️

Ok, I’m late to the party…in more ways than one! I inherited a gold ring that is just the wildest looking thing, with a few leaf cut/carved emeralds and seed pearls, scattered.
