Today I am going to create the most valuable piece that I have ever designed. The main stone of the ring is a 5.53 carat (GIA certified) yellow fancy diamond worth $62,000. The inner dome is made of 24K yellow gold to enhance the yellow color of the diamond. The outer dome is made of 18K white gold and is set with a diamond pave (1.68 carats). The arm is made of 18K white gold and is set with diamonds (0.65 carats)

My favorite part is when after he finished his work he just gave a humble smile🙂
I interpreted this humble smile as facial expression of a master who is in the end content with the masterpiece he created. He knows how many years of hard work it took him to achieve this level of skill to now be able finally bring it to full blossom.
...and yes, in the end that makes a humble smile.
Just sat here in total silence. To afraid to breathe, my muscles taught, teeth tightened, amazed at what I was seeing before my eyes. By the time you snapped that stone in, it was long overdue. Slow tears came to my eyes. Joy, fear, mesmerization and finally, your accomplishment was somehow, all our reward.
