My uncle used to have a Parisian pastry shop. A tip I picked up from him is that when you're cooling choux pastry, poking a small hole in it will allow steam to escape and you'll end up with a firmer finished product, because the interior doesn't end up reabsorbing any moisture.

Made this recipe at home (I’m a very novice baker) and these turned out PERFECT!!! One thing to note the recipe says “8 tablespoons of butter” who has time to measure 8 tablespoons of butter???! 1 tablespoon = 15 mL. 15 mL x 8 = 120 mL which is actually half a cup. Hope that makes things easier for everyone! Thanks so much Natasha! My kitchen smells A M A Z I N G 💕

I made these today and they turned out pefectly! Thank you for the guidence :)
Tips: Not all eggs are the same size, I had to use five large eggs to get the right batter consistency. I also poked holes in the pastry when they came out of the oven and popped them back into the oven with heat off and the door half open to dry out for 10 mins.

Thanks for your tips. I've tried to make this dough before but my bake wasn't successful. After watching someone on a baking show make the dough I learned why. The use of an extra egg or one less than what the recipe says is key. The dough also needs to fall in the shape of a V but not to fast, not to slow. I'll keep your 2nd tip in mind when I go to bake these. Last thing I want is a cream puff that's fully baked outside but raw in the inside 😕 Thanks again... 👍

I just made these. They came out so delicious!!!❤❤❤ they were bigger and not as round as Natasha's but I'm sure with practice i will get better ✊✊ since they were bigger, I added two berries (raspberries and blackberries). The hardest part of this recipe was getting the dough and cream into a piping bag😂 I didn't have one so I uses a plain ziploc bag and cut a hole in a corner. Word of advice, if u do the ziploc method, zip the bag closed. Its becomes easier to keep the contents from squeezing out (learned the hard way 😑😑😂😭😭)

I have reg piping bags but I sometimes use zip lock baggies when I have a smaller batch of something to pipe or fill. Next time you go to use a zip lock bag use a cup. Place the bag into the cup with the zip lock part hanging over the cups edge then fill the bag. Before using this method I had a hard time getting everything in without making a huge mess 🤦‍♀️ I even use this method with my reg piping bags. Just makes the task much easier. Hope this was helpful. Happy baking... 😋

YeeSu .....Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before the False Sabbath law is enforced! Actions are in progress to honor a Sabbath day. Already today, there are Sunday laws written on government books.
Saturday nor Sunday is NOT the true biblical Sabbath. Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God. God commanded us to let the lights in heaven be for days, years, etc. We are to use the sun, moon and stars to calculate our days, years, signs, seasons, Sabbaths, etc.
The Sabbath commandment is one of the Ten commandments listed in Exodus 20 and It is just as important as the other nine commandments. It is to be kept!
The Sabbath is calculated by God's Time in the heavens not by the Gregorian Calendar or any other man-made time. The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them. One law is to Israel and to the stranger. Exodus 12:48,49
Note: Sunday is the seventh day in the majority of countries.
Also, research the "seven Noahide Laws" From my research online, these laws are Jewish laws taken from their writings, namely the Talmud. The first law in the "seven Noahide laws" forbids the worship of idols. According to Jewish writings, the worship of Jesus, Yahushua, etc........is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation. There is a movement to enforce these laws on all nations. Research the connection between President Bush, President Trump, The United Nations, etc and the " seven Noahide laws"
BEWARE OF THESE "SEVEN NOAHIDE LAWS". THESE LAWS ARE VERY DANGEROUS TO CHRISTIANS AND TO ALL MANKIND!!
Lastly, there is much talk online that the Jewish people residing in the land of Israel today are not the true Israelites and that the true Israelites are today now scattered throughout the nations, is this true? The Bible says in Revelation 3:9, someone is saying they are Jews but are not but are the synagogue of Satan. Research, Who are true Israel?
HAVE A GOOD DAY FRIENDS OF GOD..........GLORY TO THE FATHER AND SON!

    Dough:
    Half of cup of water
    Half of cup of milk
    Eight tablespoons of butter
    A teaspoon of sugar
And a quarter teaspoon of salt
Bring that to boil over medium heat
As soon as it comes to boil, take it off the heat and stirring one cup of flour all at once

Add eggs one by one and fully incorporate them into the dough.
Make sure it forms a thick ribbon.
Transfer the dough to a piping bag. And bake at 425F for ten minutes.
Without opening the oven, reduce the heat to 325F and bake them until golden brown.
    Cream:
Combine two cups of cold heavy whipping cream and four tablespoons of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla extract
Beat them for two minutes until fluffy.
Transfer the cream to a piping bag. And u ready to go folks. 😅

My Mother used to make them and there was a specialty bakery in town, who made great big cream puffs with a different kind of cream filling and then put delicious homemade chocolate icing or frosting on top!!! I love anything with whipped cream, Natasha and maybe the powdered sugar would be best. Less calories, I would think:) Love your recipes!❤

Ruth .........Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before the False Sabbath law is enforced!

Don't know what I did wrong......followed your directions to the "t". However, I used a small butter scoop to place my puffs on parchment paper. During the baking process the puffs just flattened out and didn't rise. They turned out looking more like cookies. I finally bought a pastry bag and will try using that. I'm determined to make these.........before or after Christmas!!!!!
