BTO Bird ID - Eagles

Eagles are simply magnificent, and the assumption is that they will be easy to identify, but distant views of birds can lead to confusion with Buzzard, and now we have to consider two species of eagle, Golden and White-tailed. Here we look at how you can confidently separate all three species of large raptor.

I just saw two large raptors in the distance that I thought looked like large buzzards but I saw the white markings on the tail and wings as they banked and the light hit them so I am suspecting juvenile Golden Eagles but this is Co. Armagh so not normally known here though they were soaring in a southern direction as I looked from here towards the Mourne Mountains so I was wondering if there have been confirmed sightings of this but can find nothing. It's the white markings and apparent large size that are making me think not Buzzard. They were several maybe 10 miles away and I was looking on a clear bright evening with my 10x42 binoculars. Would be very exciting if I have indeed just happened to catch two Golden Eagles. This video does seem to confirm what I was seeing so maybe they are coming across from Western Ireland?

Hi I have not long ago seen an absolutely huge Raptor being mobbed by a red kite very straight huge wing any idea what it could be tbh i am thinking a juvenile flying barn door I am in south wales is it possible?
