Hey Star Bazaar, what sensitivity do you play on. I usually play on fifty, but I'm not very successful with my hook swings with my current sensitivity.

Anyone with a dash works very well. Couple it with a high sensitivity and a block breaking one like Yoda's, and you have basically just got to do some good stuff. Recently, I have been dashing into then as Yoda, dodging back twice, then hitting them with the dash again

Kylo has a combo that’s so good! Freeze then run away and jump, turn around just right and pull them. While they are in the air you can activate frenzy and hit them with all three attacks most of the time it’s so satisfying!

i think it would be cool if the second hit of Defensive Rush (the one that you manually activate while pressing the attack button) could break blocks, it would make Obi-Wan a slightly better pick, even though he's already top tier.
I did a hook swing not too long ago and it was random but I guess training and trying to use it will eventually become habit! Another great dueling video Bazaar!
As a fun fact. You can do a super safe version of the hook swing by using any character that has a dash ability(ex maul or luke) all you have to do is dash behind them and use said ability. It deals the dashes damage which might be lower then normal but still. Also you can angle said dashes to go thru blocks by making it just barely in range

I haven't been able to play for well over a year and a half, it sucks because I was and still am generally really good at it, but seeing you play really hits that urge of wanting to play and keeps it at bay, who know maybe if I still had my Xbox we might have came across each other.
ive had trouble trying to do it somebody did try to show me how to do it and he said hit from the side but i tryed the back i also have a hard time dodging behind my enemies and attacking i dont think ive ever been able to do it

I know you talk about it in other ones, but they are usually assuming that folks know how to do or understand the base maneuver. I've watched videos which try to explain it, but I haven't seen a good one in the style you've shown for your instructional/tips videos from before.

Hook swings are very hard to master... but also very fun to perform. Also would getting battlefront 2 on PlayStation be worth it? It seems that you find better matches on PS (from what I can tell) but I already have it on X-Box and PC. :)
I play Star Wars Battlefront II on PC, didn't get it for free on Epic Games mind you, and I think I came across the same Qui-Gons-Gin you dueled in Heroes Showdown, except his username was 'Qui-Gons-Gin1'. The guy is a really good sparring partner. By the way, your channel really helped me become a better duelist. Thank you.
Attraction is a must, Raw Strength is good and I use Steamroll, I'd recommend Tenacious over Steamroll if you're less experienced. Massive Strikes can be good but Anakin's stamina is not the best and I prefer not to use it.
The Ani vs maul fight should have been over way before. You had so many chances to end the duel but you made it to the draw. Multiple times you force pulled him and then u could used the retribution, the ability when ani chokes everyone around him. Great vid but keep that in mind that sometimes you need to take the risk to win
Mate when you play as Anakin and you manage to pull your enemy wait till he hits the ground then use Heroic might that way he’ll get a double knock down and you can follow up with a hit that deals good damage, try not to waste your abilities ☺️
i have learnt how to do a hook its very effective but it surely needs practise oh and ur right aboutthe new players in hs i play swbf2 for duels and i rarely play trooper modes so 75% of the time i play hs i meet players below lvl 40
Im not gonna lie I practiced the hook swing a lot and finally mastered it in duels and it is a really affective finisher and move I learned how to do it by seeing other duelers use it against me and I didn’t know what it was at the time but now I know how to use it affectively

I just got back on and there's so many good ppl with parry skills. I learned new parry techniques just to beat the godly dooku players

For me it’s hard Bc when ever I put my block down my opponent uses his ability on me for proceeds to spam me with hits on or dodge out the way
