I'd say Ted is a real professional and what a great career you both have. Hurt in the military stopped mine with vision impairment. Always our pleasure seeing two professionals on the job. Ha, ha flying with someone and riding in a vehicle way different for many ha, ha, ha. Good on you Ted.
I also am fascinated with flight. Something as old as time & Wilbur Wright made an eloquent speech on the topic (to the Aero Club of France after his grand premier public demonstrations there) that I wish I could reproduce an excerpt from. (Was reproduced in full in David McCullough's book, but I gave my copy away.)

Love when you fly to Statesville. I used to work at the YMCA there when my wife and I lived in Hickory. I've eaten at that Outback. It amazes me that as much NASCAR plane traffic as Statesville gets that it's still an untowered airport.

When Statesville used to have their big hot air balloon show every year at the airport, we used to let folks park in my best buds front yard and charge $5 a car...miss those days. Great little airport there and really has grown with the NASCAR teams
Cap, There used to be a hot air balloon manufacturer there in Statesville...they started it and it was really big for quite a few years...I live in Australia now and was last back last July...I don't think they still do it. Loved the evening mass ascensions...
I like the dual GTN750's, that's what I have in my plane. Hard to change frequencies via touch screen when it's bumpy, I see Capt. Jim uses the knob method.
Fun to see that all XLS Jockeys got the same probs... Had to laugh seeing you refilling the toilet from inside as we also have to do all the time... 😂 And don't forget the coffee container... 🤣 Safe flights and happy landings! 🛫✈🛬
I thought I had a good coffee plan. Unfortunately, the gas stations along our route back didn't open till 6:00. The FBO didn't open till later. When we left the Hotel I stopped by the coffee thermos in the lobby, opened it, emptied it into our pot and walked out. Maybe I should make a true confessions video.
