I'd love to see a thps 3+4 remake. These were the th games i used to play in my childhood. Pure nostalgia!

I can't remember whether this refers to the Airport level on this game, or its reappearance on THUG2, or both games, but to achieve the reflection effect that you see on the ground in and around the beginning of the level, they duplicated the level itself beneath the ground and made the floor semi-transparent.
How do you get to free roam the camera like that? :O

You must've played the PSX/N64 version
Developers don't just cull models to save on memory. Every polygon not rendered is another bunch of GPU cycles saved, so they could cram more stuff into the game elsewhere.

When I was a kid the graphics in this game blew my mind. Coming from THPS 1&2 this was such a step up. Looking back my nostalgia glasses remember it looking much smoother with more detail. The game looks great but my kid eyes remember it looking amazing.
I like THUG 2. I can't play a Tony Hawk game now without being able to run.
I used to use the moon physics cheat and play the cruise ship level and try to land on one of the outside boats so often as a kid but never was able to pull it off haha
Very cool video. My favorite part had to be when you played the Jaws theme in reverse when you were talking about the backwards swimming shark, that was pretty clever.

Exploring these levels in thugpro is rather interesting too as random parts have collision while others don't but that is thugpro's port of the level there is a lot of oddities to what ever went into the porting process.

So far I have found every "Oh, you found me"" tags in Every level of THPS 1. Struggling on THPS 2 levels, such as Marseille and Skate Heaven. But I'm sure they're in every level on THPS 2 aswell..

idk if it was the case for the other versions but on xbox if you MASHED the start button during the pre-level loading scene you could launch a weird noclip mode and fly around the map like this. idk if it worked for every level but it def did for suburbia.

In the level where you open the area with the pirate ship, I always noticed while on the pirate ship a pixelated model of what I always thought looked like the cruise ship... It's a wonder you didn't look at that pixelated ship
Spot on! There is a cruise ship in the background. I seem to remember taking a look at that, I remember it being just a 2D image, and what you can see from the pirate ship is actually all you can see anyway, so didn't feel the need to add it, if that makes sense :)

So I have no idea what I did, but I managed to activate the free camera mode on pc, I know how to do it on console, but I didn't know it was possible on pc, nor do I know how I activated it
How can you move the camera like that?
