After this lecture I cannot say if I like QV more than I did till now or if I respect her prime ministers more than I can express! That UK sure had had it's problems, but it certainly had found the best system to deal with them.
It is truly remarkable how almost every single one of George III’s children didn’t have their own. Like you’d think there would be more pressure put on them to not have solely illegitimate kids. I guess it basically worked out, but it is still strange to consider
At less than 4 minutes there is already an error: Queen Adelaide had no *surviving* children. To say she had no children implies she never have birth. She gave birth 4 times, to a daughter that lived a few hours, to a stillborn, to a daughter who lived almost 4 months, and to stillborn twins. I'm certain the esteemed professor knows this and simply used the wrong wording, but there it is.
WE (me & MY Consort, a '53 V8, blue with flamingo trim) ARE amused, VERY amused. This babe was a wallflower with goth ambitions, or the other way around; maybe, probably, both. You had all eternity to be broody-moody, 64 years to party down. So ya missed her man. Any number'a lords was a-leapin' for ya's, & not a few ladies, & YOU sat writing blueses with black borders. THAT was Victoria's secret---THAT??!!

She was created Empress of India simply so she wouldn't be outranked by her own daughter, who was soon to become Empress of Germany.
Looking forward to more on this subject!
Open.
16:25 "Her health deteriorated ..." yet lived 39 more years... LOL

She's like Aegon V
Very knowledgeable but deeply boring delivery.
I quite enjoy his delivery. A nice change from PowerPoint presentations. Just facts and ideas.
He has a dry, dead pan sense of humour, I like it.
