Ah yes….Dahna: Megami Tanjo is what the game is called for those that don’t know, and I had fun playing it even though it is difficult a bit I played this the first time when I was in Okinawa Japan at some rental Game Store…an old man owned it and he told me when I was just a kid 7 years old “ Don’t play that game…too violent” He handed me a cartridge of Sonic the Hedgehog 😂 He then asked me politely to turn it off to play Sonic instead So I agreed 👍
I like 5 things about this: 1. How player made it look deceitfully easy. 2. How she runs as fast as a horse. 3. How poor ogre can't have a breather. 4. How she and the wounded guy start synchronously jumping like capras in heat. 5. How Chinese (or Taiwanese) pirates took a look at this and had an eureka moment, screaming "It's Hercules!"
I realy did not understand why Sega not launched a lot of good fucking games from Japan in US (other example: "The Hibrid Front", a great strategy game, awesome graphics and gameplay, a Shining Force-liked on a futurist war scenario)

Well... Dana's moves set do very similar to Tyris=Flare, and some of the goons appearances in this games also strikingly resembles the goons from Golden Axe.
well yes it is kinda similar, but it is ure 2d platformer while golden axe is pseudo - 3d knuckle. There is a potential in this setting, but from this video i noticed that this game is kinda limited and cheesable, so i d like if it gets properly remade.

I saw a streaner play it once, and say the gameplay is extremelly "heavy" with slow controls. The guy here made it look easy.
