Instead of saying skinny ,you could say slim. For example. After for a long time fasting, has made her very slim" skinny".
This is helpful. She might not say the whole thing the way some of the words should be said, but that's alright. She is Asian after all. English would be her second, third, or fourth language.
What about black people's hair? Can I say they have curly hair or it fits in another category?

Emmy Chukwu You can use comparatives such as , My brother is younger than me, My sister is older to me by 5 years etc
thanks alot for responding to my question but i have another one.am the seventh and the last child in the family, how do i say the age difference between me and the third or the fourth child in the family.thanks again.
What would you call a person who shaved his head clean or trimmed to small and how would you describe him?
People who shave their head completely are called bald Or Who trim very short that the skin is visible are called Skin headed.
Dear Learners, please note: In English we don't say "...how.....look like" We say "...what....look like".
What does she look like? (to ask about physical appearance) How does she look? (to ask about well being OR an informal and somewhat superficial way to ask about physical appearance). With all due respect to the teacher, Blonde hair and fair skin is actually not common in the USA. It is a melting pot! It would be more correct to say that blonde hair and fair skin is very common amongst the native people of Scandinavia.
