Glad you found it useful and props to you for coming along on this more advanced video. That's how you go from a newer collector to an advanced collector!
In my nearly six decades of being intimately involved in the field of Numismatics, one truth still holds true: there has never been any consistency, accuracy, or reliability when it comes to third-party grading. And yes, GRADEFLATION is a real thing, as you just demonstrated.
I am at three decades. The closest thing to consistency is the CAC sticker with the exception of copper, but that has been improving lately. CAC slabs are not as consistent especially for the cheap stuff.
I feel the grading services is a hustle. Nothing like trading raw coins. I see and hear point and i do own some myself, but by far i just love my raw bullion from vintage to modern pure metal no plastic. I repect your opinion and thank you for your videos they are informative to the numismatic community.
Your video will cut along but I enjoyed it very much. I have slabed coins in my collection of 50 some years, That probably should be sent in for a sticker.
Thank you for the information.. until this video came along I was unaware of this company.. I am going to consider getting this new sticker on some of my High Grade coins.. will they be at the fun show this July?
Your channel showed up in my algorithm glad I stopped in and watched the video . This is fascinating when was this service launched I'm about tempted to send in a few coins myself in old rattlers as well as green beans . I see they have no interest in modern coins as well LOL
@@Dub-C_Coins Peace Dollars would have been a much more attractive coin if they would’ve continued making them in ultra high relief as the original strikes. A currency (pocket)coin couldn’t be stacked on top of each other in ultra high…
Correct--and I mention that in the video. Albanese originally said 10 years. That was a couple of years ago. But signs indicate CAC is phasing out stickering much earlier. I suspect we have less than 5 years now.
Ive been around a while collecting, still dont see the thrill in the grading. I have a few slabbed coins. I just dont buy into the whole 3rd party grading game. To each their own, good content, just not my cup of tea.
Thank you for these break downs. As a newer collector Im glad that I'll still have the chance to sticker some older green holders before it too late.

Great! Not sure of their schedule. But give them a call. They are really friendly!
That was a lot of coin nerd talk .😅 the amount of knowledge is outstanding.
Yeah, this one required a little bit of a deeper dive. Still some fun stuff, though!

CAC will not sticker coins forever….i believe they committed to 10 years, then CMQ will be the only one standing.
