@@jessicabrown4922 I love the southern accent! I can't see any content on your channel! You're going to kill me, but sweet home alabama is like my fav movie! ❤️❤️❤️
That Irish Schoolhouse I don’t have a channel. I’ve thought about doing one many times but haven’t. 😂😂😂 naw, I love that movie too! Reese whitherspoon is one of my favs! I’m from Mississippi so our accents aren’t much different. My husband makes fun of me all the time for how “country” I sound.
Great video. Homeschool mama from Cork here using Masterbooks. I was very glad to see you pop up in my subscription box again. Isn’t life just crazy right now with Covid? Also on a side note you look great, have you been losing weight?
Thanks for the encouragement! Oh yes life is HECTIC! 😝And yes I have lost 45lbs since Christmas thanks for noticing! I appreciate that! Hope the weather's as good in Cork as its been up here, kids in the garden every day 👌👍
When I say the bare minimum of curriculum, what I mean is that English and Maths are my everyday subjects (with possibly science) which leaves more time for FUN education. That includes nature studies, PE, baking and cooking, painting, playdough, arts and crafts, meet ups etc. When I had a full book case of what I wanted to do, I felt that I put myself under pressure. This year I am being realistic that we need to get things done (that's the "bare minimum") and I also want the supplements to be more then just book based. If that makes sense?
I saw you used Explode the Code books before. Do you think they went well with The Good and The Beautiful? I’m thinking of using the A, B, C explode the code books which I saw you used before starting Primer K. How did it work for you?
Yes I started using explode the code, it lasted maybe a week. My daughter hated the repetition and wanted to 'move faster' so I skipped to the last few pages and said "if you can do these neatly then we can move on to primer K" she was desperate to read. Anyways she flew through the pages that day and we skipped alot of what I'd intended on doing. I definately like explode the code over Sonlight for that same level, it was nothing against the books she was just so eager to actually read sentences. She also has a natural perfect pencil grip and attention to detail (when she wants!) so when it comes to letter formation she's very careful to do well. There is some writing in TGTB sheets, although I like that they have the handwriting course from K.
So glad you did an update :-) you look amazing by the way :-)
Thanks so much! X
I just came across your channel. I absolutely love it! You’re accent is gorgeous!
Ha that's hilarious I genuinely think I don't have an accent! Especially for an Irish person! 😂
Lol from a good ole southern girl from the usa, I love it.
