That was really interesting, thank you! I've been looking into online programmes to supplement curriculum and that was one of them so I was delighted to see your video pop up. Sounds like it might be a little over the head of my senior infant though so you've spared us the trouble of trialling it and then explaining to him why we're not buying it! Might look into it again next year. What's your experience of reading eggs? We're on day two of trialling it at the moment and it seems to be educational but a little.... annoying! :D
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! What kind of typing skill would you say the child needs in order to benefit from this? My 3rd grader has 0 typing experience :) she's currently doing BJU which does cover writing but she's not very engaged in it and certainly doesn't look forward to writing......I also have a 12 year old, you mentioned that your 12 year old is doing it, is he/she ok with the format/graphics and doesn't feel it's too "babyish"?
Neither of my littles had typing experience (my 2nd grader did one disastrous lesson and never typed again) before and they picked it up quickly, it's engaging enough for a 12 year old in my opinion.

My senior infant loves reading eggs, maybe try Khan academy? It's quite fun and doesn't cost?
@@thatirishschoolhouse7149 Thanks :) yes, Kahn academy is super, we've been trying that out for the last few days too!
