Nick, you don't have to apologize for the noise. After all, it is a factory. No noise means no production. I am just very happy that the company is allowing you access to film the build. This is just wonderful. Thank you for bringing us along.
I love the behind the scenes on any topic. Hidden treasures. In this case the men bringing your floating home together. Without them your dream is purely a drawing. Yes it's exciting. I wish I had a travelling water home.
You two are like two kids in a candy store. Just seeing your true excitement of this makes it worth watching these video's. And yes I can't wait to see you back in the water.
I am amazed at the technology advances that Seawind is utilizing to manufacture your future home, it's more likened to a spacecraft than a sailing yacht. The dedication in the planning and making use of every bit of space in 3D, followed with the precision fitting of each section is astounding. I truly wish I could afford a Seawind masterpiece.
I think it's great that the factory have given you such access to their production. For someone that has not worked in fabrication before it can be a bit distressing seeing an angle grinder/sledge hammer/persuadertron taken to your pride and joy. The easiest path is to keep people out of the factory and just present them with a beautiful product.
I understand how people want the sailing back. But the journey to get there is for me extremely fascinating. The build is really coming along now and really taking shape. Keep up the great videos you 2. Take a deep breath and go take a nice cold beer 🍺. See you next time.
It is both, isn’t it: The sailing is really fun and whether for you in reality or for many of us virtually, it is what we want to see. But what you are showing at the moment is also quite interesting and fascinating: This is how the basis for the sailing fun, the frickin’ boat itself is made! So, if I didn’t know sailing will commence in a few months, I might be less pleased. But the fact is: there are building channels as well as sailing channels out there and I watch both. And they change genres constantly because: a boat (however new) is always a project, as well! So, as I said: it is both: I cannot wait to see you sailing again - at the same time I very much appreciate being able to follow this building process.
Hanging in there with you both and Ruby Rose Two 🌹 Interesting I typed Rose a minute ago and spell check preferred the word Joy 😊 which I thought rather fitting seeing all the joy it is already giving you two and what extra wonderful joy it will bring when finished and she is flying with the white horses atop each cresting swell.
The boatbuiding videos are amazing. Just seeing the effort these guys put in to make your boat as good as it will be. Obviously looking forward to your sailing her too!!
Never thought I would be watching the story of a boat being built. Detail, precision, all the engineering, design and process that has got RR2, to this point, is completely fascinating. The excitement in your faces, voices and expressions as each part of RR2 evolves, kid in a candy shop is an understatement. At the same time I am watching a young couple restore a wooden schooner in South America ( Sailing Yaba ), so different.
Aww, it must be so nice to have it built just to your needs - i.e dedicated workshop!!! And hopefully soon will see you back on the water! Greetings from Seychelles
Every time I see RR2 one word comes to mind: Massive! I’m amazed at the amount of space you’ll have. You’re going to need an intercom system so you can find each other. 😀
Every video I expect to see his head explode from the excitement level going thru the stratosphere. I'm wondering how much sleep she's getting with Mr. Excitement acting like a child on Christmas morning. Great video ,very entertaining and I still say this boat is huge.
Great stuff again! But no cooking or food this week? What’s a let down! Come on Nick and Terysa, get it together. More of the beers and food please. Take us for a walk down to the harbour too, that would be nice.
Fun to watch the excitement building. Many years ago, we worked with an architect to build a 10,000 square foot home on 11 acres (4.45 hectares) on a hill with stunning views. You'll be sailing RR2 on 140 MILLION square miles of ocean with ENDLESS views. Maybe we'll see you out there one of these days (our next chapter). Enjoy!
I for one am thoroughly enjoying every aspect of the journey from the research through the planning and dreaming to splash day, it’s every bit as enjoyable as the sailing and anchoring in beautiful an exotic locations , we can all watch any amount of that every day on TH-cam . I’m sure we all realise every day is not just another day in paradise and many people are interested in the whole story rather than skipping to the last page of the book . Keep doing it your way and I’m sure the vast majority of us will be with you and loving the story .
Are they going to be laying the electrical and plumbing lines in before they bond the furniture to the hull? That would be the ONE time they could do so easily! I'm loving the "Geek factor" of watching the build but like many (or probably most) of your subscribers as well as you two, I can hardly wait for splash day.
Hey Nick, Seawind has to make sure those inserts fit without any distortion, otherwise the finish material (wood, mostly) won't sit in place properly. This saves them time in the long run of building out each vessel. It's pretty impressive to see how much time they invest in all of the early stages to make sure the boat goes together the way the computer renderings look. That time and effort is the difference between the boats you and Terysa loved (like the O-50) and those that you rated poorly, like that trimaran - I won't even mention the name. I loved the line, "I wouldn't accept this from Ikea!" The boat is coming together very quickly now!!!!
Brilliant to see such progress happening. I’m super excited for you both, and maybe a little envious too. Great to see all your early wishing and planning now turning into reality! I’ve previously owned a Seawind 1000 and always been a fan of what Richard and Team have done in developing their product range to what it has become. To see them being built through your videos and supporting cometary is a real treat. Wishing you both continued success.
Your time lapse episode from start of construction to finish has to include RR2 naming ceremony, and a shot of sailing off into the sunset. How exciting, wish everyone following this adventure could be there to see in person your great glee and relief. :¬) Webhead USA
Caught this one late, reminds me the adjustments as dentistry when final grind and polish, interesting aproach, little by little, nice to see it coming together. CHEERS
It has to be absolutely exhilarating to witness this part of the process of...."The end is in sight"! Furniture and interior sets make the whole picture start to come together. Excited for you guys.
This is fun to watch and it’s got to be so exciting to get closer to putting her in the water soon. Congratulations to you both because this has to be a dream come true. Have a wonderful week. 🙏😎❤️
This just so cool to watch. I have watch other channels of boats being built. But you guys just show more content of you build, that i really appreciate thankyou!
This was cool! I do want more, especially now that the boat is taking shape, each episode one step further, but I also wish to see you finally sailing. I can't wait to see your faces (Nick...) when you do!
You can put me in the group that loves these episodes. I can't wait for you to be sailing, of course, but I love to know how things are assembled/constructed.
That fitting seems to be more difficult - not only should it fit - the insert part also may be bended by the supports. That also has to taken into account. Amazing work!
That’s so cool seeing the actual furniture pieces finished and ready to be fitted into the boat hulls. It’s interesting to see them doing this with a simple forklift, but I’m guessing that they will have a much larger crane configuration in the future that will be able to lift the entire boats, and pieces which will make it much simpler going forward.
When it comes to sailing channels I enjoy the project videos the best; and what can be more project that building a boat from scratch. So the sailing can wait (other channels have that covered) long live the built!
I like a little of both...love the sailing but really neat to see the insides of what you guys will be sailing soon! Not too many get to see this side of a boat!😃
fascinating giant puzzle! can't wait to see how the internal mechanical plumbing wiring ducting is integrated into this build!...watching this fun enthusiastic presentation I'm wondering about the local coffee!?
Very nice progress! As a tooling guy myself it’s cool Seawind is giving you a peak behind the curtain and you get to see all the little tweaks/fixes/adjustments that go into making a finished product…especially the first couple of hulls ever built!
If you two don't mind, I will let your subscribers know of a cat been built by one person from start to finish. Ross, on his YT life on the holes. He will fill anyone on how these bits and pieces fit in. Thanks you two for another update on your boat, take care.
I really enjoy the attention to details all along the process. These episodes show me what I need to learn for my catamaran build. Thanks for the continuing tour and best wishes from Montana !
I am not sure if I could stand to watch this (your home) getting put together, just from the anticipation of seeing it coming together! Best wishes and I can't wait to see it come together (and it isn't even my boat, lol)!
Slick crew by the looks of it No dramas Think that the factory would definitely benefit from a dedicated lifting system as opposed to the fork lift for greater production capacity if they have over 80 orders But I’m only saying that so when I can afford one it can be done faster than 5 years ! I was a bit mortified to hear Nick answer that question on the wait time but I would imagine that as the factory develops I would expect the speed of each build to increase as efficiency develops That’s hopefully inevitable I can see these becoming extremely popular after folk see the build develop and can watch the entire series over the next few years / decades And the 1370 seems a sensible size too Being manageable for two and with plenty storage and extra capacity That really is a new new factory But they are definitely getting it done though 👏👏👏 Yay , everyday a little celebration 🎉
No one will ever have a better idea about the invisible insides of his production cat than you...not even close! 😃
Don't tell them I said so, but seeing so much work and the care and accuracy with which they do it, the boat ought to be twice the price!
Nick, you don't have to apologize for the noise. After all, it is a factory. No noise means no production. I am just very happy that the company is allowing you access to film the build. This is just wonderful. Thank you for bringing us along.

The choice of music is spot on. Wah, wah, chica boom boom…
You two are like two kids in a candy store. Just seeing your true excitement of this makes it worth watching these video's. And yes I can't wait to see you back in the water.
Me too 😉😁
I can't imagine the words that will come out of your mouth when your finally out on the boat and you make the first chip in the gelcoat.
That's gonna be a sexy boat. Can't wait.
Looking good, very exciting.
Sing song in Nick's voice as he talks of the various components and processes.
It's great to see your boat being built step by step, knowing how it's made. Can't wait to see the next video
Very fun to watch the progress and the fine tuning
The excitement builds.
Why do I get so excited about watching the inserts get dropped into the hull? Im outright giddy! I think Nick is even restraining himself.
I am amazed at the technology advances that Seawind is utilizing to manufacture your future home, it's more likened to a spacecraft than a sailing yacht. LOVE these episodes. Nick is about as giddy as anyone I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait for the next one.
I am so excited for you two. The boat build grabs my attention every video.

I think most of us enjoy almost everything you guys do. It is fun to see the joy and excitement you are giving off. Keep it coming
Ah thank you
Like everyone else; Seeing the build is fascinating. Seeing your excitement is infectious. Looking forward to you two being back out on the water.
So fun to see you two beyond excited. I'm excited for you too! Luv ya.

Your shinny face shows us just how 🔥 it is inside the factory. Being acclimated takes time and plenty of drinking 🚰. Nice episode.👍
What a team of workers, that heat would be horrid.

I'm so excited for you guys...what a great experience. Its going to be so fun watching the sailing too!
Nick, you should talk to them about letting you fly your drone in there to get a great view of the details.
This is fun to watch and it’s got to be so exciting to get closer to putting her in the water soon. Congratulations to you both because this has to be a dream come true. Have a wonderful week. 🙏😎❤️

You can put me in the group that loves these episodes. I can't wait for you to be sailing, of course, but I love to know how things are assembled/constructed.
Adjust those contacts :) we don’t want our floss to shred when we floss 😆
Wow! Just . . . WOW!!!👍
Now you know why it's called "Fitting", it's what fitters do!
That fitting seems to be more difficult - not only should it fit - the insert part also may be bended by the supports. That also has to taken into account. Amazing work!
Imagine if that building had an overhead crane instead of that dodgy forklift.
Nick, I'm becoming a techno nerd! Really enjoying watching this build!

Trimming the modules; it is easier to cut off than it is to cut on.
