Great video with a very detailed breakdown. Both are great, but the deals for the last model are just incredible. I may end up trading in my truck for one!
No turn signal light on the side mirrors, no air vents for the rear passenger, no passenger power seats in 2024 SEL but exist in the 2023? Seems so weird to omit some nice to haves that the 2023 had.
The question i want to know is did they fix all the previous problems they've had with Hyundai's in the past or is it the same old engine that won't last past 200,000 mi i was thinking about getting one but I'm kind of on the fence about because I heard they don't have The same reliability as like a Honda
@@VagabondBuilds I did end up trading the 24 to a 23 limited. I have to say, i really like the 23 it has a sportier feel to it than the 24, also the 24 now has that huge new steering wheel almost reminded me of my grandmas old buick. I did like the updated infotainment system in the 24. the 2.5 motor in the 24 is awful, very underpowered. When driving in the 24 when you change the drive mode from normal to sport, there is no difference, it drives the same.

Glad it was helpful!
I do like the interesting plus and minus Hyundai did with the SEL trim. Giving one a reason to opt for the Limited or N-Line trim
Thanks for the input! Was the video helpful at all?
@@VagabondBuilds video was very helpful. Simply brought some clarity
My right knee is coming in contact with the hard surface of the button shifter of the 23 model & is not very comfortable. Did you experience it??
No actually I didn’t. I’m 6’ 2”. Are you taller ?
Had A 2021 sonata loved it but got the new 2024 elentra and it's so much better
New tech is always much more nice…?
Elantra cannot beat sonata even if it's 2021 vs 2024

That’s because 2024 is gasoline Sel while 2023 is hybrid Sel.
2024 hybrid Sel has all of those as well. This isn’t a fair comparison.
Yeah, we were trying to show how the design changed in 2024. Features might not be the same on these 2 cars shown in the video.

Well I know people don’t like the GDI engines but I believe they are doing better now. They are getting up to 150k miles East
Do you have a 2021 Passat low mileage?
Sorry, I don’t understand the question… are you looking for a review?
The blinker light is on that new side trim on the 2024 it has it it’s just not on the mirror.
Oh. Missed that.
I have a white 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL and my front grill is black. And my rims are different. What model are you showing?
SEL is the trim we showed.
Jfyi - 2024 hybrid Sel has 2nd row air vents, powered passenger seat, and side mirror turn signals. This isn’t a fair comparison.
We try to compare what we can get our hands on.
@@VagabondBuilds Then do your research and compare properly or give proper disclaimers
Does the 2024 have wireless phone charging
Yes depending on trim.
2.5L engine is GDI + MPI injection.
Good or bad?
The SEL Silver
Is that the color you prefer?
I have the 24 sel connivence, i hate it. Actually looking to trade it back to a 23 Limited
So you want more bells and whistles huh… why not go 24?
Not a fan of the 2.5 motor the 1.6t has more pickup

2020 is way better
I think it comes down to preference…
Nah 2024 is superior
2024 is god awful ugly.
I like it more than the older body.
Yeah they are trying to copy the Tesla cybertruck with the new LED lighting across the top of the front end lol.
It's a nice breakdown but you are awful on camera. Maybe consider having someone else do the commentary because that is not your cup of tea.
Thank you. Appreciate the thought. Glad you can use the video
@@VagabondBuildsI thought you did good bro, don’t listen to the hate.
