I think typhoon goni wouldnt even make to the top 50, it might be super strong, but it was small, i personally think that vamco would be ranked higher than goni in terms of damage.

Atlantic Hurricanes have topped out around 190mph for wind speed and in the 880's for pressure. Typhoons going north of 200mph and down into the 870's has happened a few times.

And goni weaken rapidly when it made landfall.
Goni was a small storm, but did extensive damage. It also was not as costly as Haiyan.
