I love this new section thing on TH-cam. Don't know how long it has been out but I just discovered it so imma go ham adding it to my videos. Hope you guys enjoyed have a good day
Wow, this is prime quality content! Good job, keep it up. I subbed and look forward to your coming videos. Acrid is my fav character so this helped a lot
@@rndThursday Blight can stack and it is affected by your base damage. if you want to do big ouchie, AKA taking down the worship unit with his shield up, use the death mark with blight. GG
@@rndThursday I think you should make a video about the changes and how they directly affect the gameplay and all the build options... And also, what is this exposed debuff form Merc? Thx for the attention!
@@Heradd I most definitely will. Got lots of stuff planned for the future. Exposed debuff = nutty Merc, will explain in future video when I get more practice on it.
My favourite item combo on acrid is mass od Magazine,Guilotine and Brain Stalker & Alien Head. This damn combo items make Acrid so mobility and Wild. Its So Awesome And thanks to this build i love this character
Will need to update this guide. 1) The poison has a Max cap on how much damage it can do per second. It will do 1% of damage of victims max hp per second for 10 seconds. But this is heavily negated by how much damage Acrid can do. Example: Wandering Vagrant with 2498 hp. Rough Rounding gives us 25 damage per second / 3 as it does three ticks per 1 second, and you will see roughly 5-6 damage per tick, instead of 7-8. Where Blight deals 60% per second (20% per tick), which grows with Acrid's level. For 5 seconds. So Acrid's base damage at level 1 is 15, so 20% is 3 per tick. for a 9 damage per second to a 45 damage per stack. Compared to X damage per tick (Since it differs from hp pool to hp pool), the highest I have seen at level 1 is 5, so 15 times 10, is 150 damage. Clearly a big difference. Problem being, it can't kill, so all that extra damage, is quite pointless in the beginning. Same as it can't overgo a specific threashold of Acrid's damage (Roughly 50 times his damage, so at level 1 this is roughly 750 damage over those 10 seconds of damage, and since he grows 3 damage per level, it increases by 150 damage per level as a maximum). So both have their ups and downs. Both suffer late game because of the threashold they have. 2) Acrid's Primary attack every third hit regens a bit of HP (Not enough to save him in many situations). Same with Bite now applies Regenerative which heals him over time, it doesn't stack, and is not much of a saver.
I know this video has been out for a bit, so my comment might not be seen, but what differentiates proc items that di hit and dont? Like why does the poison trigger bleed with tri tip, but not other on hit abilities?
So what do I do against claystriders? Poisoning enemys is nice and all but those things just heal to full if you can´t burst them down. Hope I have a preon ready??
Does everyone forget that blight stacks and poison doesn't?...if you play right for it you can get much higher dps out of blight, especially if you are a casual player or one who prefers not to loop, and just kills the final boss
Ngl this is a fantastic video man. I just unlocked all the characters except rex on drizzle but I am totally unable to survive as anyone but commando and huntress on normal difficulty. The video is great quality keep it up and your channel will do very well. You've got a sub for what its worth!
I don't get the love for acrid. Why kill a teleporter boss in 100 seconds when you can play any other survivor and kill the teleporter boss in 1 second with a crit build.
A little late to ask but now that ravenous bite heals you for 10% of hp over 0.5 seconds do you think it either, contends with neurotoxin, is better (if your want to go pure melee), or still isn't good enough to compete with neurotoxin?
I love this new section thing on TH-cam. Don't know how long it has been out but I just discovered it so imma go ham adding it to my videos. Hope you guys enjoyed have a good day
But it doesn't work here. Maybe because the timestamps are ranges
Acrid used Epidemic on earth D:
At least he didn’t have banjo so everyone who is infected don’t violently shoots out electricity.
Wow, this is prime quality content! Good job, keep it up. I subbed and look forward to your coming videos. Acrid is my fav character so this helped a lot
I appreciate it
even on the first Risk of Rain, Acrid was and still is OP when it comes to mowing down hordes with the hit-and-run strat
Ikr? First character I beat the game with.
Acid dog gang
Rose Buckler is a crazy good item on him since guess what you're doing 95% of the time
tru. One of the few survivors who can run and shoot
You forgot to mention the biggest difference between blight and poison: blight can stack!
blight do be kinda poop tho
@@rndThursday true, I just find it fun to stack it.

Great video, dude! You deserve the growth you’re getting!
You making me blush 😳 thank you!
I always add at least 10 tri-tip daggers to finish off poisoned enemies
new daggers are POG
Acrid with leaching seeds is OP, change my mind
I wouldn't say OP as it isn't superb when you aren't fighting a million enemies, but it's much stronger than I expected it to be tbh
It doesn't proc with the poison anymore right?
@@botronas6039 yeah sad
I literally cant
Man they really added the Regen on acrid! Keep up the good work!
I know! I saw that and was incredibly happy about it, I want to test it out some more and see if it opens up any good play-styles

love the fact that they claimed they were gonna removed the sprint cancel years ago and still havent
bless you for letting us see what legendary you got there.

@@rndThursday Nice ^^ also love the videos, I find them really entertaining.
While watching this I got a wisp jar on the first teleporter so I think I should thank you
ur welcome :)
Great content, keep it up!
thanks!
Can you do one for rex? Love the content. Lately fell in love with rex. Sad to see you dont have one of these for the biracial angel
i will be making one for every survivor gotta grind those out, especially the rex for you :x
nice video, soon comes out the new update so you can make a guide on that when its released
That's the plan!
Btw thank u so so much i watched most of ur content and helped me so much with character builds and know hows TvT
glad to help :)
That was a great video! Earned my subscription.
Welcome aboard!
great guide, thank you so much :)
3:05 they listened! 1.0 healing doggo!
POGGERS!
Going death mark build with acrid is a fun build
Was really hoping for a Tanky melee brawler monster, instead got a hit and run Dino that is basically a scary looking support character
I know this video has been out for a bit, so my comment might not be seen, but what differentiates proc items that di hit and dont? Like why does the poison trigger bleed with tri tip, but not other on hit abilities?
This video is old - Poison and Blight no longer activate any on-hit items
Why are the auto-generated captions so fucked on this video
Either way, thanks for the guide Mr. rnd (:
*satanic noises* "and that's how you play acrid" :)
Holy shit they are
So what do I do against claystriders? Poisoning enemys is nice and all but those things just heal to full if you can´t burst them down. Hope I have a preon ready??
cant heal if no enemies nearby.

Thank you! I appreciate it
Not frost relic; go for Tesla then Dagger. Idk if that was a joke but if anyone thought otherwise (like myself) then here you go.
Update, they did patch it 😬
Out of curiosity, why do most guides never mention the two rings? Is it because they only have an 8% proc chance?
proc chance isn't great + there are better items tbh
How do you only have 129 subs
I'm grateful for every sub that I have and we growing everyday
@@rndThursday +1 from me. I felt the same way he did. These videos are good stuff man.
One month later, 1.25k subs, that's the kind of growth this channel deserves! I hope it stays exponential for a while!
6 months later, this amazing man has 13.7K
bro i love your videos but idk if its just my audio output but I am hearing mad sibilance from this video in particular
just had to google this NGL, but maybe. I just recently discovered de-essers so hopefully it gets better
Since blight deals 60% of Akrid's damage- is it affected by damage related items? Does it deal more damage the bigger Akrid's damage is?
I believe so
I don't get the love for acrid. Why kill a teleporter boss in 100 seconds when you can play any other survivor and kill the teleporter boss in 1 second with a crit build.
dino doggo go brrr
I think the love comes from being able to wipe 1000 enemies at the same time while just bouncing around the map with leap lol. He’s just fun
Yeah but same with acrid and a crit build. Plus that's the MAXIMUM time it should take
Does leeching seed work on poison?
We stan Poison Doggo
Sooohow can i wuickly grind 1000 poison damage
I've seen this exact video before but voiced by a different person
acrid can still basic attack cancel though
I can tell this guide is a little out of date as he calls the tri tip dagger “underwhelming”
came like a week or two before the update rip
Melee acrid best acrid. FIGHT ME!
Also perfect video for new players and really good amount of info for new acrid players
A little late to ask but now that ravenous bite heals you for 10% of hp over 0.5 seconds do you think it either, contends with neurotoxin, is better (if your want to go pure melee), or still isn't good enough to compete with neurotoxin?
super weak still. the 10% heal is a drop in the bucket most of the time
you failed to mention how blight can stack. which is part of the reason why it can be so good
5:29 awkward laugh
heh
Is visions of heresy worth getting on acrid?
Yes. Unless you are playing melee Acrid, then no
@@rndThursday ty! Just defeated Mithrix in monsoon for the first time thanks to your guide!
