All trains are 6 cars or 3+3 cars after 6 years of opening, since Guangzhou had immensely underestimated the usage of L3, especially after the extension to the airport.
GZ Line 3 is insanely crowded! Almost all the trains are fully packed in the daytime! Line 18 may solve this problem when it extends to GZ E Railway Station.
@leiuwu3965 GZ Line 3 is one of the poorly planned metro lines in China. This line only limited to 6-cars trains due to platform length limitation, and they are fully openly connected already. Yet they are still packed due to many places on this line still developing. That is why the GZ Urgently build the express Line 18 to lower the burden of Line 3.

i missed when coupled 3-cart trains were common on this line but from what im seeing its slowly replaced by normal 6-cart trains
