thank you so much. Can you also suggest the angle of a ramp built for vehicles to go for the basement. Especially for passenger cars and vans.

For a vehicular ramp 1 in 8 is the maximum permitted, 1 in 12 is good ramp
I'm sorry for the late reply

What should be the slope for ramp for car

Excellent video, but one important point of language to clarify. When you say “R over G Intro 100”, it is incorrect. For the formula you have written, it is ‘R over G MULTIPLIED BY 100’.
To say ‘into’ means ‘divided into’. So it’s the opposite of what you have written.
    For example, 2 into 4 is 2, whereas 2 multiplied by 4 is 8.
So, your %slope formula is not said as ‘into 100’, it is said as ‘multiplied by 100’. Obviously it’s necessary for you to be saying the correct thing for a video of this nature.

Thanks a lot John. Surely, this is a problem of usage of language. In India (from where I hail) when we refer as "into", it implies multiplication. And I agree that language usage should be such that that has no other interpretation. Now that I am aware, I will keep this in mind. Thanks again for your input
