Dude!!!!! Awesome review!! You put so much thought into what you wanted the consumer to know, and you had the equipment and experience with that equipment to make it happen. Bravo 👏
It's the mother in law joke for me LOL Awesome review as usual. I'm kind of torn whether to invest in the Jetson Haze or Lectric XP Lite. I already have a Jetson Bolt Pro so there is familiarity there but the xp lite seems more durable overall. I could be wrong.
▪️ Yea the mother in law thing got me, too. I'm guessing the lectric xp lite gets up to 20mph - so that alone would probably make it a better competitor in my book. 🧊
@@2NDFLB-OUNCE sadly, the Lectric XP is a much more expensive bike than the haze in Canada! I doubt very much anyone can beat the price. I got mine for $550 for each Haze, and that’s in Canadian dollars! $627.14 with tax and all shipping, eco fees and taxes!
Would you consider making a short video on how to replace the brake pads on the Jetson Haze? There are lots of videos explaining how it is done on the Bolt Pro, but the Haze looks a little different. Just a bit scared of pulling the cotter pin and not being able to reassemble the brake system properly. Thank you.
Same here I do not drive due to my seizures the best thing is the e bike and I also got mine yesterday July the 13 of 2023 at Costco as well for 499 plus tax which is a amazing deal
Including shipping fee, Eco fee, and taxes, each buy came to $627.14. I think it was! And as stated I saved $358 off the price of each bike, from what they originally first sold for! Original price with taxes equal feet and shipping would have been $985 each! I got both bikes for just under $1255! That’s total with all taxes fees etc.! And I saved in total $716 on both bikes together! When I did this, it was absolutely a no-brainer I had to do it! I had mentioned this on several Facebook groups, and other people started purchasing two as well ! Device were completely sold out within a couple of weeks! Costco in Canada is no longer carrying the haze at all at all
I got my son a Jetson Atlas Fat Tire with 3 inch tires because he drives through our yard and gravel driveway. The brake rotor became warped and Jetson has offered to replace the bike but with the Haze because Atlas is out. Do you feel that it can be driven on gravel and in grass etc?
Hi, I just bought this haze. does your haze's petal assist activates on the 3rd petal rotation? this is what mine does. I have the bolt pro, and it activates it pretty quick.
Hey I came across your other of Jetson video. And this one is another informative video. Keep up the great work! And you don’t let up on your poor mother in law 😅😂
How do you lock your haze? What type of bike do you use? I find the wheel lock that comes with the bike quite useless. It doesn’t seem to have a good design for securing the bike any ideas?
Hello I just wanted to to you that Jesus loves you and he wants a relationship with you. If you are willing to give your life to him and follow him then he will transform your life into something greater than you can ever imagine. Make sure to obey him and strive to be like him in all his ways and he will give you the gift of heaven. In Jesus' name I pray that you will accept him, Amen
I think the atlas is more in line with the Jetson bolt pro, it has a similar wheelbase and tire size, and they will feel close. Due to the voltage, the haze will be slightly faster takeoff/hills, only a little faster top speed due to the limiter, and a bit more comfortable due to longer wheelbase AND taller tires.
I have a few questions: 1. Can you see how many miles you’ve ridden? 2. If you use pedal assist, does that reduce amt of mikes you are using power for? 3. Can you carry the charger with you and how long does it take to recharge ? Thank you got the nice review of this bike. I’m very interested in purchasing it, because I think I’ll be able to get it in my car easier than my regular bike! Ruth Laibe 4. I’m 4’11” - am I too short for this bike? 5.
Answer for 2: No, it doesn't decrease the miles you will get. It's actually gonna increase it. Answer for 3: Yes you can carry the charger as its a small wire with a box connected to it, it takes 4 hours to charge the bike once. Answer for 4: No, you are not too short as this bike is a mini bike. This bike may be too small for some people who are over 5 foot 10. I feel like this bike would be perfect for you and your size.
absolutely, was able to fix a flat during the brake test of this video: th-cam.com/video/F9UgvTAEk5Y/w-d-xo.html You wont need to apply much with the haze, probably only 1 ounce per wheel.
@@YouTruther i have two bolt pros and two hazes to do so maybe one bottle of slime will work! Thanks was hesitant for warranty but shoot rather be prepared then stuck!
half the videos I simply set the camera down and have two going, and that lead to theft shown here th-cam.com/video/2mr-1PRxEmQ/w-d-xo.html. other times, I have a camera operator working with me.
Yes, cut the rivot, should be relatively easy to do, and a pipe cutter for a clean cut. I have a Onebot that is slightly taller and was able to do the mod
FYI: the extra battery does not have to be for a Jetson haze. It can be any 48 V E bike battery! I may be doing this eventually! As for now, I have an extra battery cause I bought two bikes! Mind you I do have to pop it open and stick it in there and exchange the other one!
Nice review, thanks! How big is it folded, both full fold and halfway (like you did in back seat)? Wondering if will fit in sedan trunk, like 18"H opening? and, you said it's not great for over 5'6", what about 5'11" rider? It is $100 off Costco online right now july4th, $450... wonder what is in-store...
great deal, folded to it's smallest, you can fit in a number of places, and sedan of any type should work. if not, remove the seat (significant size savings), it becomes very small. if not, it will fit in the front passenger or rear seat! it is about 14-16" thick, maybe less without a bulky phone holder. 5'11 will be fine, maybe 6'2 is the max
@@YouTruther Thanks! Ordered! Update: wow, bought night of 4th, arrived eve of 6th! Works great, and DOES fit inside 18"H trunk!! Folding handlebars and pedals also is great, very small footprint hanging on garage wall, doesn't block path between wall and car. Height seems ok for me 5'11", pedals feel bit like kid bike pedalling, but... no need w/ the motor.
Yes, it’s similar. The advantage with a Jetson is that you don’t need the key to ride. The same key that is used for the battery is used for the rotor lock as well. I filmed a clip of it, but I think I might’ve forgot to put it in the video 😅
I bought a jetson haze for my daughter as a Christmas gift and I noticed that its pedal assist kicks in late. It takes more than 1 revolution of the wheel before it picks up. I was wondering if you have the same experience. Compared to my full size e mountain bike with a pedal assist that kicks in as soon as you start pedaling, I’m not sure if the jetson haze’ sensor needs to be adjusted.
I was wondering if you can do they Bluetooth hack on it I’m assuming it’s the same controller because stock controller can take the 48v ever opened it up ?
Looking at your video of you going up the hill, that’s a steep hill, man! Doesn’t look like a small hill by any means! Definitely not made for hills, that large, or that steep of an angle! Myself I own two of these and I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, and we don’t have any hills. Everything is basically flat! The steepest hill is the occasional bridge. Good job of the video by the way, as always! Yeah, I bought two of them, they did not sell well in Canada, and when they first released them, they were $870 in Costco in Winnipeg! Two months later they were down to $800 online! And 3 1/2 months later, they clear them all at $550 each online! I saved $358 off the original price online with eco fee, shipping, and taxes! The reason I bought two of them is because Jetson doesn’t ship anything at all to Canada. None of their bikes and none of their parts! So I have spare parts for one complete bike, and an extra battery to take with me if I want to double my range! Or, I can take a short ride with another friend on the other bike! Much peppier and faster than my Jetson bolt pro! I’ve seen on other TH-cam videos that GPS is actually 2 mph slower than the bike is actually going! Therefore your bike is going 16mph top speed not 14mph!
iOS dictation is decent considering no training is needed. commercial software has training you have to do for the software to optimize for your voice.
wack on the speed lol i have the jensen atlas goes to 15 but i used the bluetooth module from the older jetson bolt and put it in the lastest model.....and speed hacked it on the older Jetson ride app. now it goes to 18mph
This bike is a complete waste of money, and so porly produced, I am surprised they are making any money. To start with, the accelerator has a set screw, that will no stay in place. The only way I as able to get it to stick, was to drill a recess hole and use lock tite. The kick stand, after falling over one time, broke off. If you get a flat, be prepared to disassemble the bike and take at least an hour to fix it. Don't try this on the road, as you will never get it done. We then returned it to Cost Co, and purchased a second on, thinking that maybe we got a lemon. The second on arrived, then wouldn't' charge or hold a charge. Trying to contact customer service is a joke. They open at7:00 AM, I was online at 7:01, and I was immediately told it would be at least an hour. We will be returning this POS bike and finding a different manufacturer.
the set screw can happen with these ebikes, and I generally check this on all ebikes, and as for the kickstand, I mention that style is prone to breaking, in another video, customer service is a joke, I mention this the other video comparing to onebot. The tire..... green slime, prevention is the best bet for any of these ebikes, you do not want to change the rear, it's not easy, but there are some tricks. A lot of the screws have loctite and you need heat to loosen them, a torch does a good job, but it's a torch, and you gotta be careful....

I love that design. I can easily modify this to 72 volts and 3000 watts and give it a suspension fork
Does it have a Twist throttle? Also does it have a shock it looks like? I'm trying to compare it to the bolt

If I have to go 20 miles, and the battery dies, how hard is it to peddle the rest of the way? Does it charge when going downhill or when breaking?
