- The video is upscaled from it's original 640x480 to 1280x720 so that youtube would use it's HD encoding instead of HQ. I did this in hopes that the HD encoding would allow for a higher audio bitrate than the HQ encoding does which should give better sound. Hope that clears everything up.
This was pulled from a lossy xvid torrent and I'm still in search of the DVD of this show or just the uncompressed audio. If you have either please PM me.

Bucket is like Hendrix - he didn't like to play a song the same twice. Some folks hated him for in live performances because they wanted to hear the same recorded version. I can dig Bucket's improvisational style.
One of my favorite things about both musicians. Unfortunately I'm 18 so I'll never be able to see Hendrix live, but at least we still have Buckethead.
This is alot slower than he usually plays it, the tempo.
Seriously? This is probally my favorite live version, it has a lot of structure to it. Most of his current performances of soothsayer throw me off, it sounds like hes just randomly shredding. But this is amazing and where its at for me at least.
The run at 7:19 is a nice little tribute to his old teacher Pebber Brown. That was one of his warm up picking exercises.
The lighting and shadows make his mask seem as though it is showing expression as he played, especially at the end. freeky .

There used to be an awsome video sharing site that had at least 20 full Buckethead concerts on it. Luckily I got the best 2 before it was shut down.

But seriously why does he got so many different versions of this song,that really kills it for me,this is not even close to the best soothsayer video I have seen,
