Predator 301 Gets Honda GX240 Internals

My buddy got a cement mixer! It came with a Honda GX240 on it but its in pretty rough shape! Will the internal parts from the GX240 that we need fit into a Predator 301 from ‪@harborfreight‬ ? What is the purpose of the great reduction? Can that be used on a mini bike?

This engine goes on a large cement mixer that can mix quite a few bags at once so maybe it needs the torque more than the HP I'm not really sure but that's how it came so my buddy wanted to keep it that way.

@@nicsminibikesI’ve tried to do the same thing and I can’t get this thing to start. I’ve done exactly as you’ve done. All I get is a poof every other crank. I’ve reset the valves still nothing. Pulled off cover and checked time and it lines up. Still nothing
