I’ve had the armor air case for both the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro Max and been loving it but this seems to take it to a whole other level. I love a grippy case especially one that’s lightweight. I’ve typically had to add dragon grips to my case for extra grip, but hopefully with this new weave design, I won’t have to. I hope they release more colors. Maybe like a racing Formula One design. I just placed my order. Thank you for doing such a great review.
You’re absolutely right, it’s nice to have a colored weave that isn’t pitaka that actually covers the top of the phone. Thanks again for the reply. Keep up the great work.
@@ishan9661 I have a Spigen screen protector and when I lay my phone face down on the table it doesn't really touch the screen. It rests on the case by a tiny bit thanks to the slightly raised angles of the case. But if you press the phone down the screen will touch the table.
Uggghhhh…I already have the “normal” Benks air, the Memumi thin case, and two or three Pitaka thin cases for my 15P. I shouldn’t even be considering this but yet here I am on the Benks website lol
I’ve had this case for about 2 weeks and discovered a defect on the iPhone 15 pro max version. I noticed that the phone wobbles inside the case when you pick it up fast. A simple shake test and you will hear and feel the phone moving side to side inside the case. I’m curious if I got a bad batch or if they all have this problem. I’ve bought 2 of them already. One from Benks directly and one from Amazon. The regular armor air doesn’t have this problem. Im curious to see if your case has this issue.

Hopefully this one doesn’t have the same issue since the one I ordered on Amazon did have it as well. Other than this, I love the case, another upside to the new weave design is that it hides fingerprints a lot better.
@@Brians_tech Super disappointed that after waiting 2 weeks for my warranty replacement, (because it came from China) the new case has the same exact issue. When you pick up the case if you can feel the phone move side to side. The fit is terrible. This is the third case I’ve tried that has this issue. You can only test it with the phone in the case by a simple shake test.
I’m now to the point where I dont wanna case on my phone since biting the bullet and getting applecare+. But I would like to prevent scratches on my blue titanium. Also I noticed the phone gets warm and thats annoying when having no case. How much bulk does it add?
Not much at all. It’s a very thin case. If you don’t want to use a case, definitely get apple care. Honestly, I always get it even though I use a case. Better safe than sorry. I don’t really notice my phone getting warm without a case, but I don’t keep it caseless for long.
I'd love to own a phone case that have those lovely grippy texture to enhance my grip while using my phone. Even when holding the phone lightly my grip will still be firm or strong. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾
@@Brians_techSo I decided to order the Pitaka magez 5 in Moonrise to see what all the hype is about and I went back to my Benks Aurora Air. They’re very similar but the Pitaka is not as strong as the Benks. I guess it can be a such a thing as too thin because it does flex easy. It also doesn’t have a tight fit on the corners, especially the corner where the camera is, no bueno. The fiber gelt nice and grippy but for $70+ tax it feels really cheap. I think it could be because the top and bottom is open, which causes the loose fit idk. Anyway, the Armor Air doesn’t flex really, has a tighter fit, quality material, actually has a slight lip more than the Pitaka (but thats not saying a whole lot) and best of all, its a better value. Thinking of getting the Montage next.
I think the logic is people opting for the cheaper iPhone will also opt for a more budget no name case. That’s why a lot of the more premium brands only sell for the pro. Just assuming.

What do you think about the color of the weave? I’m not too big of a fan of that green. I know it could look different depending on the lighting.

The screen protector I’m using does not collect fingerprints and oils. It’s called MIPOW King Bull.
