I left SoCal years ago. The one thing I miss most is Little Saigon. My mentor and I were there at least 4 times a week. I did not get into Phuoc Luc Tho real often but across the street at 9191 Bolsa was a ton of great food and fun. Head on up near Brookhurst and Hazard for some more really great fun and food. Don't skp Garden Grove either. The clear sauce Chinese food is so light and delicious. Not heavy salty like brown sauce... really clean food.
WOW, WOw, Wow…everyone. Those that say “it is wayyy overpriced”, guess what?! Almost everything is overpriced nowadays (including used cars!). Going out to the Night Markets here in the States the food prices will not be cheap or overpriced, it will be just right. Some places are cheaper than others. Tasting mouth watering street food can hit our pockets hard sometimes. It all depends how often you go at it. Steve, you are doing great by the way. Discovered many hidden gems because of you. Many Thanks!
Thank you for allowing us to experience the market with you. It looks amazing! The street food chefs work so hard . I appreciate the variety of dishes and how well each is prepared!
Thank you 🙏 for sharing 👏👏👏Food looks very delicious 😋 and is this food market food court still open? And do they open every weekend? I would love ❤️ to go and try😋😋🤗you what, I just find out they closed already 🥲Next summer 🤦♀️and I just subscribed to your channel 😂
@@gailsfoodandstuffugh. I was disappointed tbh. As a Vietnamese person, the food was meh to okay, not impressive, and wayyy too overpriced. Even for the experience, I do not recommend coming here since it is not a very stomach or budget friendly. Each portion is about $10 average and it is so small. I spent $80 there to fill my stomach 😢
@@LinhTruong-dp6lx i appreciate the honest and detailed reply. sorry it wasnt tummy friendly, thats no fun. im on the east coast in va, so i cant go there but its fun “eating” vicariously through some of these youtube videos. :-)
One more…. I paid 18$ for jumbo prawns… and the lady tried to sneak in the regular prawns which are 12$. I had to call her out. Watch out for these business people taking advantage of your wallet. Also just heard you paid 16$…. We were charged 18$.
Lot of gimmicks and overpriced items! You can go to real sit down restaurants in little Saigon and try the same thing. However, it worth an experience!
Very nice but wish the price would be cheap like your in Vietnam. They should have one day in a week that the price would match price in Vietnam. Lol…….😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That juice bar guy was a great salesman. That juice bar looked really healthy and delicious. What great concepts.
The best part is that you looked like you enjoyed every bit of mouthful of food!

May I ask, to visit Little Saigon, what airport do I land? I am flying from Detroit Michigan. Thanks.
great foods and fun. they used to call Phuoc loc tho but looks like they change the name to littlel saigon...
Little Saigon isn't just that mall. It's the whole community. That mall is still known as Phuoc Loc Tho
Suuuuuuugar caaaaanneeeeeee

am so hungry right now!!!
Looks absolutely wonderful! I hope to get out there! Prices reasonable🦐💕🍜
Go early if you can. I would say 6-7pm is the sweet spot. After 7 people start pouring in and it will be packed, especially on saturday
Looks absolutely delicious..🤗
Thank you for sharing..
Do they accept credit card or is it cash only?
The coconut snails!!! True Vietnam is snails! Also the squid on the other side is $10.
nice, spring roll aint cheap.
Yes. Proceed with caution
Hummmmmmm
🔝❤
Love waffles😮
They were great
Giant Prawn for $16 USD each 😮😮😮 way too much for me
How about the $16 shaken beef with spaghetti noodles? 🤣
Bro, most things are like $20-$25 at these events these days.😊
:(
Thought these events were supposed to be cheap and affordable for common people
not to mention it looked dry af >.>
Cash only?
Cute
wow, the shrimp is the size of a lobster! 😮
$15/shrimp

Over-priced. Im good!!!!
Yup seriously overpriced . One lady took my money with her gloves, and made a salad dish with the same glove…..

@@fawnfruitsit was pretty cheap for a fair, have you been to OC Fair or 626 night market?
@@RayQ101lol its not cheap compared to those two. We are talking about the portion of the food. 1 banh trang nuong for $10 is ridiculous
The second stall seemed well/fairly priced to me
Nice authentic street food however not to great at those expensive prices...

Yes indeed
dayumm $6 for 1 spring roll?!?!
$16 per shrimp? I can’t find this reasonable
DUDE YOU DIDNT TRY THE BALUT !!
I was there and I have to say, it doesn't impress me. The food, wasn't good.
Fun vibe for a date though.
It takes a lot of time to set up, and only 4 hours to sell. The price is high for obvious reason.
$16 for a shrimp????
Way overpriced for the spring roll. Go to a real restaurant. Lol
Street market food for dine in restaurant price. Too over priced for night market food.
food is great but xpensiveAF lol

Way overpriced. You should go to actual Vietnamese restaurant there and the foods will taste way better and cheaper .
And probably cleaner.
So if u get a drink and a meal your spending about $60. What kind of asian night market is this...
Well being that you are vietnamese I guess you would like it.
He's korean
