Every time I see you eat Razor Clams I think of my dad. In the 50's I used to go with him to the Orange Co. beaches (SoCal) and we would Surf Fish (from the shore with big rods). We always used razor clams or sanddabs/crabs as the bait, so I can't even imagine eating them!!

Oh my God, I live like 1 minute walking distance from Biển Hẹn. Awesome content, Mike. If you want a really good pho place, I highly recommend Pho Lu on Westminster Ave. One of the best outside of Vietnam

Pho 2000 in artesia has the most rich, exquisite, pho broth I've ever tasted. A tad pricey but extremely worth it because of the large bowl.
Always stop what I am doing, OR wait until I can watch un-interupted when new Mikey video comes out. Gotta watch em all at once, no distractions!

Here in Florida, October/November is our peak "sitting outside" weather. I love it!
Honestly wasn’t expecting this. That first little restaurant, Hu Tieu De Nhat on GG Blvd and Kerry St, is right by my house. I could literally walk there in 30 seconds. But I’ve never tried it! I definitely will now. And yes, OC has great food. Everything from Michelin rated restaurants to hole in the wall places.

Yesss my mom would always order me hu tieu when I was younger and opt for the dry version :) I always thought it was more flavorful.
You should try adding some sriracha and squeeze some lime on the hu tieu next time instead of the vinegar.
As for the bo ne, try loading a piece of baguette with the egg, steak, sliced raw onion, and normally they'll serve a sauce dish with half sweet & sour, and mayo.. A little spoon of that on top 👌😍
I think Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine take the top 2 of Mikey's favorites!
I had dinner already but when you said oxtail and bone marrow fried rice I was instantly hungry. The power of delicious food.

Fun fact: the owners of Nép Café are the same owners as Vox Kitchen, Gem Dining, Súp Noodle House and ROL (their latest venture into handroll sushi). They also plan on opening a variety of different stores.

to be honest that is very close to what we have in Vietnam. yet i HIGHLY recommend trying vietnamese food in vietnam itself, you wont regret
