Little Saigon's Night Market Street Food | $4 Skewers, Seafood & Lobster in Orange County

- During the trip to Vidicon, I decided to go for a little detour. About a year ago, good friend David (@DavidSriracha ) suggested I go to Little Saigon for a wonderful AYCE Gill, Hotpot, and Seafood buffet for only $25 at 98 Shabu and I was hooked. Little Saigon has so many great places to eat and explore and all at such great value, I decided that it was time to make another visit.
From the last trip, I got a chance to meet some new friends and looking forward to seeing them again, and very grateful because they told me that there was a Night Market at Little Saigon offering Vietnamese and other Asian Street Food. I can't wait to give it a try and anticipating that it might be a little expensive, I decided to fill up a light dinner with some authentic Cambodian Phnom Penn Noodles. Wonderfully delicious and very filling.
To my pleasant surprise, the prices at the Night Market was very affordable! $4 for large skewers of meat; $10 for a freshly grilled lobster tail if you're feeling indulgent -- all very reasonable ... especially being in California.

Being understandable sometimes the prices are high because the space rent could cost up to $500 a night to be a vendor that's is what I heard from one of the TH-camr. Spending money there I think it worth it to keep the tradition alive every summer for everyone to enjoy.

Good question... I really don't know but they certainly have a lot of lobsters everywhere... Many of the booths have them
Wow! Super nice night market! I would say it looked like Vietnam or Filipines or Indonesia or Thsiland with the hordes of people & the endless lines! I never enjoyed eating in this type of environment because it's quite stressful just trying to find a little space to eat & sit! Although I do like to try a lot of street food! I guess everybody in OC wants to get out after the sun goes down! Didn't see too many hard working people, just a lot of stressout, hot & boring staff! That was the smallest cup of pho I've ever seen!
I could have used a bigger bowl of pho for sure 😂. It was quite hard to find a place to eat during the peak times but it worked out as they had quite a few tables...
The Asians in my area gamble in the park and always have food for sale . Can't beat egg rolls and a coke for 5$ .as long as you don't gamble it a win

I've never tried pho (I'm sorry! 🙈) looks amazing though. What looked more amazing was one of my favourites - The seafood! I love shellfish in particular and happened to get particularly jealous once again! Stop it 😂😂😂
im noticing that odd fuzzy sound with your mic, is it just me? i heard it last time too, its like the mic records a fuzzy sound when you talk, etc. anyway, food looks amazing.. but wow, super crowded.
That area is probably very noisy with both voices and copyright music. I suspect when he edits, he uses some type of noise removal process which, when getting rid of the music/voices, also "damages" his audio file.

I didn’t pay much attention to those gigantic squids. I was the one who was saying those exotic gigantic snails, cockroaches, lobsters and crabs found in Vietnam look awesome. Well, the gigantic squids don’t look awesome. Of course, I have never ate any gigantic snails or cockroaches. Cockroaches are a awful name. Since when do you find cockroaches in the sea? I have eaten gigantic lobsters, and they are delicious. My father used to think that the huge lobster’s meats are tough to eat. After he ate them he realized that they are not tough and delicious. Squids are not as delicious as lobsters are. Bro, you were smart not to wait on the long line to try it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm happy to say that there were a few comments saying that the squid was just okay... Likely not worth the lineup. I've always thought giant lobsters were tough as well, but they're actually very good 😋

Everything is great except the price, and they only accept cash as they are greedy and don't want to pay transaction fee from credit card.
The current prices are like more than triple to the original when they first organized this market about 6 or 7 years ago.
Oh! I should have mentioned that. I don't carry a lot of US currency and all I had was Canadian currency and a credit card at that time. With only $20 on me,Judy/Fei were kind enough to cover me for a lot of the other foods 🙏
