Interesting! I wonder if using a projector to show the image of the patronus onto a semi-frosted acrylic sheet instead of a TV might be something. I've seen suspended displays at the perfume section of the stores in my local shopping mall would have a logo or some video projected onto a frosted acrylic sheet suspended from the ceiling. The projection would be the same size as the sheet so it made the projection look like it was floating in mid-air.
I have a Hermione wand that lights up at the tip. My dog gets so excited by it! Not that Peter getting excited about this wand made me think of that...
