  • Milwaukee is launching the STUD 2.0 tape measures with 16', 25', 35' lengths as well as magnetic and non-magnetic tip options. The new STUD gets a slimmer profile than the original but tougher in case and tape protection. The new Milwaukee Tape Line up also offers WideBlade, Standard and Compact options with all the sizes and magnetic options for arguably way to many varieties.

    Um.. what do you measure at 45 degrees standing out? Would love to see a test completely horizontal how many feet before the tape cracks down. Standout doesn't matter unless it's horizontal right?

      I just got mine and consistently got 13'5" holding it almost completely horizontal. That's how I test my tapes. Fat Max usually only gets me a little over 11'

    How about holding it sideways, their stud gets out maybe 3’ and folds over on itself

      Good point - tape measures are never measure in this way even though that should have some consideration as usually they are 1 man measures as opposed to 8 meter measures will have something to take the 1st few inches of weight or a colleague to hold the 1st part of the tape taught and flush to start point.

    I use 16ft stud. But the 25ft is huge. The 16 is a big as the 25 fat max.

    I thought the STUD(which I own 3 of and use daily) was the last tape I’d ever buy.....

    • @mitchjones2821
      @mitchjones2821 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      To add. Don’t abuse a tape, use it correctly and a quality tape will last years. Period. These are good quality tapes.

    When she rubbed that Stanley tape with the concrete nothing happened to the tape, now pay attention to the Milwaukee tape how it got bend on the edge of the blade. Stanley all the way!
