@ArrowheadGarage thank you my brother and thank you for making a thumbnail for me it came out acting like always...... Brian this Disc brake conversion will work on your 1967 Firebird the only thing is you will have to grind down the metal slightly on the points I pointed out on the video but actually great price for a disc brake conversion kit and you can get a lot of the parts at your local AutoZone
Excellent and honest conversion. So frustrating when people selling you things aren’t honest about what they are selling. Thanks for the parts list and taking the time to make this video.
Thank you very much brother for your support I'm very grateful that I was able to make it work and just had to grind some metal off thanks God not too much or else I will have to have had everything tossed in the garbage but so far everything is working out great buying aftermarket parts is really frustrating especially when the seller is lying to you
You would think the simpler solution to the caliper bracket is produce only the 14” brackets, why bother making the larger ones when the small one will fit 14 or 15” wheels. Thanks for showing us a less expensive way to greatly improve the braking system
@@VinylVillageGarage thanks brother after grinding a little metal on each point where the wheel was rubbing it worked out great the only thing that makes me upset is why will the seller say no modification needed when clearly you do have to but I give thanks that everything worked out great thank you for watching and thank you for your support my Firebird brother
pontiac made disc brake wheels i used the kit from right stuff and the disc brakes on the front worked fine with my disc brake wheels code jj but the rear needed alot of modification to make the wheels work the right tuff kit was 4 wheel disc brake conversion for my 69 firebird from jegs it was $839.00. looking back i should have just done the front brake conversion but im happy with it
@@chrismansker8870 yes you are 100% correct they are rims that came on disc break cars that will work but when they sell you this disc brake conversion kit saying that it will work with a 14 inch wheel no matter if the car was originally disc or drums that is what made me upset but thanks God I worked my way out of it and everything is fine thank you for watching and thank you for your support
Great video Louie! I love the way you broke down everything and made it easy to swap out drum to disc. I’ve been there and done that and it’s not fun. Great job👍🏼AL
I am still on the fence about swapping out to disc in the front... great video!!!
