    A very down to earth review, I wish there were more like this.

    I bought this set up last week but sill considering whether I want/need a grip. With the firmware updating this camera is fairly awesome.

      +Joe Duquette For me, the grip is invaluable. But everyone is different. Enjoy your camera!

    Hi, thank you for this great review I also have the xe2 with the 27mm pancake lens and it’s an amazing little setup for doing street photography and since firmware v4 it can capture children moving around which makes it a great camera for families also, the 27mm also focuses quite close and with the 35mm equivalent being about 40mm it makes it a very good all round little lens.

    Thank you for posting this. It encouraged me to buy the kit. What is the model number of your head, it looks an ideal size for that size of camera.

    Great camera the X-E_ series, I have the x-e1 myself. But just for an fyi, one of the iphone 7+ lens is a 50mm eqv.

    This setup vs a X100T, which would you pick?

    • @sharpfocus8515
      @sharpfocus8515  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I pick the interchangeable lens option.

    does the AF in XE2s in particular can shoot a wedding? your thoughts? cause it can really be an advantage cause of the size and what not. plus the fuji IQ is so unique.
    The Canon images is very common looking in my opinion (i shoot w/6D now)

      Damn! That was what I was hoping he would answer in this video but I guess he doesn't and he also hasn't answered you a year later so I guess I will never know.

      You have to change aperture on the dial on the back of the camera

    Why not x100?

    This is the perfect size and form factor for me, although a tilting screen would expand the possibilities. I'm hoping that Canon might come out with something similar - I think they have superior ergonomics, menus and build quality, and if my lenses could be used, even via an adaptor, that would be perfect.

    Does you need to multiple equivalent to 35mm factor of the Aperture like the focal length of APSC lens?

  • @WarzechaSoftWorks
    @WarzechaSoftWorks 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    For 35mm you should try the XF 35 f/2. Way smaller and cheaper with almost the same IQ as the XF 35 f/1.4

      +MostlyClaudy Thanks for the recommendation. The package described in the video is my choice for size (including how far the lens sticks out). I'd love to try out the 35/2, though.

    that is a worthless focal length, imo. but whatever. I pretty much only like 24mm, 35mm, and 85mm (full frame) anyways.

      its pretty much a 42mm FF equiv. which is closest to the human sight. cant understand why this should be a "worthless focal length". Keep in mind it is a dx lens ;)

      hahaha "I only shoot 35mm, fuck 40mm-that's useless!"
