Just by coincidence I used the feather AS-02 tdy, the AP brush and Haslinger sheepsmilk, the most creamy lathering in my den. No irritation. So my conclusion its not the brush alone, which is vry scrubby, but the soap as well. The 1st time I used glycerin based Col. Conk, which I find a standard, cheap soap, but not the thickest latherer with the water here. Cheers.
Yeah could be the thicker boar hairs. The ap shave co isn’t scratchy just super scrubby! Very unique face feel. Feels nothing like the semogue caravela knot.

Next time add 5 or 6 drops of Tea Tree oil into any witch hazel full-size bottle and give a good shake to mix through, Tea Tree oil helps kill infections, germs and getting rid of pimples remember to let your face dries for at least 5 or 10 mins before applying aftershave or balms. Okay.... Mr Irish pimple, don't forget to smile at the bloody Irish camera during your next shave.

Your eyes looked like shark eyes! :D...Anyway, the good thing about this mild razor (yet efficient) is that it is luckily hard to nick yourself even if you are shaving tired or half a sleep. Nice one Cris. Time to pull out that S4 btw! I’m thinking of another Feather. I had a good AS-D1 but gave it up why I don’t know. AS-D2 is calling. Injected molding for US $153 delivered is not bad at all. People on forums go on and on about how James at Wolfman is an artist unmatched and toils away creating his razors. Nice designs and a great polish but those are simply programmed into a CNC machine. Folks tend to forget that.
