There should of been some perception rolls with the devils. Galder's Tower takes 10 minutes to cast and has verbal and somatic components. The very fact that he was casting spells during his show would make casting this spell not possible via RAW! And, yes I know he is the rule designer.

Gotta say, Anna has at this point mastered roleplaying the Lawful Good Dupe without sacrificing the integrity of her character. I think the trick lies in Evelyn being too morally absolute and pure to actually comprehend the inherently corrupt and evil nature of cold, hard capitalist corporate culture.

Pat Rothfuss and Xavier Woods were made to play D&D together
Bobby knows how to fight in real life and it translates well to the table. Such an amazing player. Really loving the dynamic of group. I do miss Binwin but what they are doing now works and really good.
Honestly Binwin riding Bobby into battle would be glorious.
Even though Gaulders tower requires a 10-minute casting time, I'm really glad Jeremy let it happen! It's a great example to other DMs that it's okay to bend the rules to give your players that extra bit of fun!
This! imo, if it's not game breaking or completely defying circumstances, rule of cool should almost always be followed

@@LiquidFranz This is easily my favorite episode because of the Jim-on-Jim play, but the latest episode with Certainty ranks pretty high for me in the Jeremy Crawford arc.
The funniest thing about this whole video is that Mike tells Jerry that the number of the beast is three sixes, but at that very moment Jerry had rolled a six for the third time during the game.

There are so many spectacular moments from this show, but Pat Rothfuss delivers one of the best moments in AI history at 41:00 telling Omin Dran to be a better person. The descent of Omin from opportunistic to evil was long and slow, and Viari offering him a chance to redeem himself was delivered masterfully.
I agree, such an incredible character moment and I loved the way Omin responded with a sarcastic remark and then a thoughtful handshake.
Bobby has been such a fantastic addition to the team
If you ever have the misfortune of playing with someone who actually gives people crap every time they don't know an obscure rule, refer them to the point around the 2 hour mark here where the lead rules designer has to double check what the saving throw on Banishment is.

I could be annoyed by Xavier Woods not knowing how to really play, but he really adds so much to the show, his personality really works with everyone and I love him.

In real D&D games, the rules get misremembered all the time!
I don't have a problem with it, adds to the moment if the DM allows it - and they are in charge after all. He also used it in a similar fashion on the Walnut Interlude in the C Team.
Let us just remember that Jeremy Crawford is absolutely the lead rules designer and absolutely decided to ignore that rule for the sake of the game.
Why? Because Jeremy Crawford is a GOOD DM!

Last comment I promise. Lol. WOTC knows what they are doing by inviting Wrestlers to play. They have amazing improve talent. Wrestling is already like larping. So it works really well. Hyper RPG has a new D&D show coming out that fuses wrestling and D&D together. This will be big. Because wrestling has a big fan base especially with tweens and teens. This will bring in a whole new generation of D&D players. I'm in my 40s now I haven't watched wrestling since the Brutus The Barber beefcake days. But wow do wrestlers make for great role players. I do love how D&D is mainstream now. When I first started playing in the early 80s you didn't tell anyone you played. It was played and talked about behind closed doors. Even though a ton of us played.
This just started and Omin is *so deep in troouble*, in legal trouble, in trouble with clones, in trouble with his friends to promote the lich over them, this is gold. He's so against the wall XD.

OMG! So excited now!. Just got back from an epic New year's Eve at Madison Square Garden with Phish. My face was melted. To have a ACI up! Now I get to chill and laugh after such a epic night and watch some epic RPG action. 2020 is amazing so far. HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE 🎉!

This is one of their best sessions yet! The kiss was brilliant in so many ways.
My only issue with that kiss is that the fortress has a casting time of ten minutes. But I understand the fudging of the rules because that was an awesome idea.

To a Demiplane then it goes back to it's home plane same as an owlbear for example if you were on the Prime Material.

@@flyingmobias The lore for Tieflings is that they originate from a curse on a family for not fulfilling contracts with infernals or Asmodeus.
They are going to do whatever want anyway but as far as official lore it would make sense.

People getting mad about the fact that JCraw doesn’t care about every little rule really need to have a nice cup of tea and relax.
There’s NO wrong way to play Dungeons and Dragons. If it’s fun for you to follow every rule to the letter, great. Do that. If you want to ignore any rule, you can do that too.
I would like to point out, the first rule of the game says to ignore the rules. So the letter of the law crowd are, in fact still deciding which rules to use and which ones to ignore. Further, this idea originated with Gary Gygax, so it’s not like it’s some new, watered down idea.
I honestly think if you’re mad about it, it’s because you’ve always been a rules lawyer, and now you see that the man who wrote the rules doesn’t really care, which hurts your arguments that the rules are super important.
