Hiding something is a huge point. I stopped dating this guy last week because I was tired of feeling the wall he had. He never talked about his family, friends or work even quick or casually in passing and it was strange to me. As I was cutting things off he said I was right then “came clean” about his real estate and management role at work. It’s too late. Though I did not answer all of his invasive questions, I was open and honest. 2. If he did not ask to accompany me to family stuff including my uncle’s campaign events, who just won governor by the way. He wanted me to let him into my world but didn’t share enough of his for me to be comfortable. He was “busy bragging” and had sort of a snootiness to him. So yes my concerns are valid. Thanks for sharing your opinion but that’s an unreasonable ask in this case. Lastly, you made an assumption that we had “just met”, we were getting to know each other for a decent enough time for certain things to come up casually. He was being avoidant and I have a right to not like it.

If he did not ask to accompany me to family stuff including my uncle’s campaign events, who just won governor by the way. He wanted me to let him into my world but didn’t share enough of his for me to be comfortable. He was “busy bragging” and had sort of a snootiness to him. So yes my concerns are valid. Thanks for sharing your opinion but that’s an unreasonable ask in this case. Lastly, you made an assumption that we had “just met”, we were getting to know each other for a decent enough time for certain things to come up casually. He was being avoidant and I have a right to not like it.
