Today we're looking at a very well-used sound in the history of Psy-trance and Goa-Trance. The Gated Pad/Vocal effect, we're doing it in two ways, firstly with Kilohearts Phase Plant awesome hybrid synth and then with some freeware and samples.

You will see the monthly subscription. The main reason I bought this pack is because I wanted better plugins I use Bitwig and version 3 the Grid is just amazing on synths, I have been using phase plant recently and I really line for wavetable.
Great videos... thx...Just one little hint as I saw you already do this a few times already: If you want a PingPong Delay in the Kilohearts Delay, you have to use the Pan parameter on the delay... otherwise there is no PP effect at all!!

Dear dash, Would you say the quality of the trance Gate is way better than the A1 Triggergate (which I think deteriates the quality a lot). Thanks for your vids buddy. Amazing content.

The only thing I that I don’t like in the kiloheart reverb is that is that you can’t EQ (low cut/high cut) the reverb signal in the stock plugin effect
is it possible to make automation of the lenght knob in phaseplant?

hey what's up, nice tutorial! i tried to use the trans gate but it won't run through more steps than 8 before retriggering unfortunately.. i noticed the same problem with my arpeggiator vst hence i assume that this is a problem within the settings of ableton itself :/ does anybody have an idea what the problem could be? i'm running crazy right here xD

Whats the best BPM to use to create psychedelic trance music? 140-160 ?
Depends on the genre you like. Check out what kind of psytrance you want to do. Find out which bpm you find appealing.
@@Oneirophrenic123 That depends on my mood but the psycore/dark forest in the overall genre i like the most. Think 160-220 BPM, i produce Edm other genre much faster BPM but wanna try to make a psy track, as experiment if can put my feelings in this genre too :) Thank you :)

Love your tutorials bro and iv learnt a lot about sound design through watching but maybe you don’t need to give so many verbal examples of what’s happening and just get to the point. Sometimes I find it hard to watch the full tutorial as it drags on. Just a thought. I hope you don’t take offence, just some constructive criticism 🙏
