Meganium is cute but pre forms are much cuter

I have a strong connection with the gen 5 starters because I watched Black and White first. I personally think Serperior is one of the prettiest Pokémon along with others such as Milotic, Dragonair, and Primarina. And I LOVE Oshawott because of his personality in the anime. If there was a Pokémon game where I got to choose from any of the game starters I would probably choose one of the gen 5 starters.

Cinderace slowly became my favorite fire starter. I love the whole evolutionary line it just looks so cool and using it is so powerful.

My absolute favorite is the Mudkip line, Swampert is an amazing swamp-monster, and Marshtomp looks ready to rock out.
I also love the Popplio line. I did not like Popplio at all at first, then I saw the negative feedback it was getting and saw some art and I fell in love with it. Brionne is ok, but I love Primarina, I'm a singer too so I feel like Popplio is just my soul-pokemon. I totally called it being part fairy too!
Chimchar line has grown on me, I really like that line now, especially Chimchar, he's so cute, energetic, and lovable, and he can hug me back!
Mudkip is my favourite starter ever, on my team for sure no matter what

i love dartrix so much. at first i didn’t like it because at first glance rowlet and decidueye look so much more distinctive than it, but when i was playing S/M, that proud little flip that dartrix did with his green head feather made me fall in love with it lol. so cute!! i almost didn’t want to let it evolve.

Finally samurott giving the recognition it deserves. It's such a good concept with the shell armor and swords that pull out exactly like a samurai pulls out his katana. Now if only he was good in competitive, give him shell smash already!

My favorite line was always the Treecko, Grovyle, and Sceptile line. I’ve also personally like it because he always felt like someone that may seem really confident to protect you, but somehow always found time to just be there when you need them most.
Treecko is the coolest pokemon throughout. In his Pokedex entry, it states that treecko is calm and collected, yet terrifying and intimidating at the same time.

Why do people call Drizzile “Sizzile”
An old leaker accidentally called it that
There was a leak a while back that called it Sizzle. The leak was mostly accurate but by the time of the game's release there were a couple things that were different. Not sure if those parts were once true but got changed, or if the leaker just remembered slightly wrong.
The leak called Sobble's middle evo Sizzile, so everyone just got in the habit of calling it Sizzile, even when it was revealed to actually be Drizzile. I think more frustrating to me is the fact that the leak spelled Inteleon as Intelleon and whenever I wanna type that Pokemon's name I get thrown off. Other things the leak got wrong include Greedent being spelled as Greedunt, and referring to Opal as "the first ever fairy type gym leader", which, you know… just isn't true, we already had 1.5 fairy type gyms.

Benton Marshall ehh… 0.25 in the original sun and moon because she does give you the fairy z-crystal and is at least in theory a trial captain, even though she doesn't really have a trial. But she's 0.5 in the ultra games I think

I want to stick up for my boy Delphox though. I think it's one of the most uniquely designed Pokemon. I love how the Kalos starters are kinda the RPG class archetypes: Fighter (Chesnaught), Rogue (Greninja), and Wizard (Delphox). Delphox is certainly different, but I loved it's robe-like look. One of my favorite things about the Pokemon is how it uses its wand so well, and moves such as Flamethrower or Spirit Fire come out of the wand's tip. It makes the mon that much more fun for me to use when I see exactly how the move works like that. It's an elegant-looking fire type.
I see some people rank Braixen higher (and I also love Braixen and think the evo line in general is underappreciated), but I guess I just prefer the 'master mage' look to the 'fire fairy' look that Braixen has.

Emboar is one of my favorite pokemon. I love its shiny, its design, and it holds a special place in my heart as first pokemon ever. But I can see why people would dislike it:
1. It's a pig and people dont like boars I guess.
2. It's the third Fire-Figthing starter in a row.
3. It existing in gen 5.
4.People tend to lean towards cooler or cuter pokemon and its doesnt strike that balance I guess.
@@ivanbackfromthecardshop8093 sadly no, Serperior is my fav gen 5 evolved starter but it has terrible stats. Samurott is average. Emboar is actually decent, but isn't used often

I can genuinely say that i don't hate any of the starters, whether its the first stage,middle and Final stages. Heck some starters are my favorite from that specific region like, Quilava,Servine,Fennekin,Torracat and Cinderace 😊.
I like fennikin but Delphox is 0/10
I’m attached to pignite because as a kid I had a misprint card of it that had 1000 hp, and I always thought it was cool, the tepig line is defo my fav unova, and that probably has something to do with it

Snivy is my favorite starter Pokemon I personally fell in love with the Unova Region I caught my first shiny a liepard and my favorite animals are cats I also fell in love with the anime Iris was my favorite girl and i fell in love with Ash's Snivy she was sassy and i loved her

The Chimchar line has always been my favourite for me. It was my first ever starter and since then I’ve been in love. And I’ve started loving Sobbles line too.
I love Monferno and Infernape, but the red around Chimchars eyes looks like his eyelids are stretched out.

Me who is doing a nuzlock with Snivy and Snivy has evolved and I give all my xp to her: yep...
The treeko line is also based off dromaeosours (aka raptors) with the leafs mimicking feather. When I found that out, I started to love it even more.
