Thanks for doing this review. I like this tool roll and plan to get one but I will wait to see if there are any revisions in the near future. Even your suggestion of having the tool roll, roll the opposite side would be enough for me. Roll it toward the zippered pocket, and I would buy today. Good job on suggesting that solution.
The notebook cover looks fantastic as well. I will be putting in my order tomorrow, for the notebook cover. Too bad I can't get both at the same time and save shipping, but I would like to see some minor improvements first.

A very nice product and some very useful comments, Michael, about the pros and cons. I agree: the design is good but could be developed a little further with an end flap, maybe one at each end. Recently I found a sturdy, empty case for eyeglasses. I won't be putting my glasses in it but was thinking the case would be great for holding pens that I carry in my backpack! The case is an unintended tool holder!
