I would agree a gluten free diet is not enough. Most of the time yes you have malnutrition in your blood work including anemia or low iron (not always low enough to be anemia) and primary doctors aren't trained enough to help. I get frustrated with my primary that I always doing blood work for thinning hair, chronic fatigue, IBS and I keep being sent to so many different doctors and no answers. Then I get told I have fibromyalgia. It's very frustrating that I am still just as tired or more tired and taking vitamins or supplements don't help.
Do you have endometriosis?
If you have access to a Functional Med Dr, you should go. Dr's in tbe USA are simply not trained in Celiac disease.

@@AuroraLakes I've seen functional doctors before. Not all are created equally I need to find a good one.
I would not consider individuals diagnosed over 40 with a higher risk for cancer as good news. No drug coming out any time soon…. 2022 was waste unfortunately
