If you're completely new to DJI and the FPV space, I created this Beginners Setup Guide and Menu Overview video to get your aircraft all prepped before you fly outside. While there's a tons of options in the menu system, I go through to main ones you will want to understand like the on-screen display information, remote control button customization, and camera setting adjustments. Getting familiar with the remote and settings location will be key when out flying. Stay tuned for Part 2 as I walk you through the basic steps for your first DJI FPV flight.

So, how is the video in the goggles? Is it really a 1080 feel? I want to put the goggles on my wife while I fly so she can see what my hobby is all about.

Thank you This was a very helpful video. Especially learning how to set the custom C1 button to the ESC beep or turtle mode. I hope I don't need turtle mode or the ESC beep, but it's better to have it set ahead of time.

Aldryn, can you confirm the combo comes with enough cables to charge everything at the same time? Mine lacked a cable to allow me to charge the goggles battery and controller simultaneously.

Once I connect to my phone, it doesn't do anything on the fly app, just charges my device. I've been watching tutorials left and right and I haven't been able to get my dji FPV combo kit to fly. I've bought it a week ago

So after you do all of that an you go to device management it doesn't have a bind or unbind from account when I asked dji they said that the dji fpv doesnt have a bind to account function ?

Is there any specific bag that you or anyone in the comments would recommend? I’ve just got the Dji fpv.
I’m looking at the Pgytech hard case, but haven’t bought it yet as it seems like it’ll be annoying having to remove props and arm braces each time.
I might get the hard case for storing long term, and still get a Lowepro Drone guard 400 or something for when I’m out and about. I could do with a bag that I can take fpv kit & DSLR + couple lenses but haven’t seen a decent bag yet.

I already have the DJI Goggles v2 and use them with the Air Unit. I’ve just bought a separate FPV controller on eBay thinking that I could use it with the Goggles and the Simulator. I’ve tried to pair the Goggles to the Controller by pressing the red button on the Goggles and holding the power button down on the controller. They beep and everything, but don’t seem to pair without the drone. Is there a way to pair the Goggles to the Controller without the drone?
Mine only came with 1 charging cord. I have to charge drone battery and goggles battery separately. I'm also curious about the activating the drone? I have another older Nutel drone I can just go and fly, what does activation do?

The one thing I want to know for a camera angle. How can I custom the angle not in manual mode?
Hi I switched to M Mode after fly up to 200 feet and it’s only allowed me lock at M mode for a few second then back to N mode by itself . On the goggle said ( remote controller control stick error and unable to use M mode ). I have set the custom mode to manual mode already and used the Allen key to lower the left hand side joystick . Hope you know why. Thanks

On max flight altitude and max flight distance in the safety menu. How do you get it to show it in feet and not meters? Under the control menu I already changed it to imperial which shows everything in feet while I’m flying but in the safe menu it still shows everything in meters.

Great job!, I only wish you would’ve explained the coordinated turn thing a little bit better. I noticed you had that set to one of your buttons. To change it from maybe the small turn to the wide turn. But I’m not sure. Can you explain real quick how that works

my fpv goggles screen is blank now, been using it for 3 months. i updated the firmware but still the same. there is live camera feed on my cell phone but when i look into the goggles its blank. white light in the goggles view goes on and off every few seconds. any idea?

It really is 2 different types of expectations when you fly this compared to a regular mavic. The speed of this is so much more fun.
@@FlytPath I just returned mine and ordered a cinewhoop....I think will be much more enjoyable to learn fpv on that not having to worry about crashing a beautiful drone like this DJI one. Cinewhoops to me feel like real fpv drones from someone who has little experience in that world that how it appears to me at least from what I’ve researched. We shall see soon.
Any idea when the Virtual Flight Sim will be available for Android? The app will install but won't even load on my iPad mini 4 with latest (14.4) ios version.
Not sure about Android. But I would suggest always going to the DJI website directly as they have more up to date links than what's in the App Store.

Android users. Download the DJI Fly App apk from the DJI website, not the google play store. The Google play store is not up to date and your FPV drone wont be listed

Did anybody receive their FPV Combo, Fly More Kit in two separate shipments? My extra batteries and hub are coming first DHL and then the drone kit with everything else FedEx. Really frustrating to get the extra batteries first instead of the drone first. Also I got the PGYTech One Mo backpack...... That thing is insane!! Best bag ever, the storage is crazy!!!

How do I log into my dji account
There is no DJI Fly App...and the DJI apps I do find simply crash on startup for Android. I'm on a Pixel 6.
The DJI fly app for the fpv is not on Google Play for Android devices. So I downloaded it from DJI directly and when I launch the app it basically takes over my phone and I can't access anything else, not even go back to my phone's home screen. I have to shut off my phone to deactivate the app. Is there an easier way to do this? I do have an iPad mini.

My DJI Mavic Zoom Auto RTH at 30%. The DJI FPV would not return to home at 10%. So I hit RTH to make it come back.
Tried getting a replacement pcb for the accent led's today after having a small impact with the floor :) the quad is fine and still flies as intended but as for the accent led pcb with dji support I got a Fat "NO" . so much for an easily repairable drone if they dont even carry parts that can easily be broken. pft. oh yeah. they wanted to charge me the 250usd deductible which is about 300 CAD to get it fixed btw :,)

@@bubblecash1 no, I am from Germany, but this is the first company that had published spare part names and number which you will need to find these paarts cause they have nothing in stock. Why? DJI supply shortage and to be honest they have disassembled a drone just to take those pictures to show something.
Pretty decent service. No one else offers that so early cause search for sku and you will not find much. You might try to get those parts you need from a crashed drone that someone has disassembled to sell it in pieces cause that offers a chance to crash for free. We sold the drone in bits and pieces separatley like the goggles and battery and charger startion we got with the fly more combo. We had paid 1630€ ... we got 1959€ minus paypal fees due to a broken arm. All pieces sold in 48 hours ... and bought a brand new one. That way it was cheaper and a lot faster couse dji announced delivery of repaired drone not before april last week. We had crashed on day 1 and had sold everyhting on day 3 and got the new one on day 3 or 4.
Try craigslist to find crashed ones or ebay.

About to return mine. I am getting this error "Country Code Not updated, missing features, Please use the fly app to update." Did that and still the same error. Also tried updating through the DJI assistance FPV application on PC ( aircraft, goggles, controller) Still same issue. This morning tested the drone again to see if the error would go away. Helicopter flys low 2km from me. No message or warning telling me there was a nearby aircraft like the other youtube videos Ive watched. I am guessing this is the missing feature. There's no GPS
I have the same issue! I am currently trying to figure out this issue as well as trying to figure out how to get the back flashing lights to engage.
I have a comment on charging the batteries, you can charge the goggle battery from your chargers you’ve had from all the other electronics, but the controller will not charge through your standard wall brick charger, I know this because I bought one pulled it out of the box and plugged into my wall charger they already had to get things going and it won’t charge no Blinky lights nothing, I tried different cables I tried different chargers that I already had, keyword here already had, and nothing happened it did show the state of charge but it would not take a charge. I sent that one back as defective ordered another one pulled a controller out of the box plugged into my wall charger the white brick 18 watt would not charge no blinking nothing, so I thought to myself does this have to go through the charging brick that comes with it? Yes it does I plugged it into the charging brick that it comes with and it’s now charging. No one mentions this in any of the unboxing reviews. I wonder how many of these have been sent back as defective because people aren’t using the charging brick that it comes with?.
Did someone thinks that this drone can be a good idea for first fpv drone?(I want to buy one.. .)
Yeah should be okay because you can still I fly in GPS mode. But I would advise doing some simulation training before you try n fly it manually
I did my best and followed the instructions but I have not been able to get anything set up the way you described it. The goggles don't connect they are stuck on the language preferences and the firmware download doesn't happen either. Nothing works and the instructions that came in the DJI box are just horrible.

Shame the goggles don't record the flight telemetry, maybe can be fixed via a firmware update.

U record off the goggles in case you need to locate your drone...that’s a fpv thing apparently.

What happened, mine just came in the mail
Heads Up: DJI charges a minimum Repair Service Fee of $65.00. There are a lot of parts that they do not sell - so customers are forced to pay high prices for small repairs. I needed to have one front arm replaced. Parts cost a total of $7.50, but because they don't sell replacement arms - I was required to pay the $65 repair fee.
Also, DJI requires that you provide all flight data before they will make any repairs. Until more parts are offered to the public, this is a VERY expensive drone to fix.
