Great list. I couldn't remember a couple names (although I could picture them and remember which team they played on) of Black NFL QBs. This was a great refresher. I think you did a great job.
As far as the mobility I will agree with you on that. But not every black qb has a cannon. For example de shaun watson, teddy bridgewater, dak prescott, and tyrod taylor all have weak arms
Afro Maniac 44... Most black QB'S aren't true QB'S. Most are glorified running backs who rely more on their running ability, as opposed to reading defenses and checking down through their procession of receivers and finding the open man. Problem with that is they have short careers and are only really good for a few years. They are injury prone, because they are getting hit all the time, plus teams are much better at defending them now. You take away their running ability, and make them throw, they are average at best. Kaepernick is the perfect example. Teams know how to play him and he's not very good as just a pocket passer. All the greats, with long careers and multiple championships, are white guys who couldn't outrun a turtle. They can play into their 30's and 40's because they beat you, in the pocket, with their brains and arms. Warren Moon is the best black QB because he was a real QB, who played the game from the pocket. I would put McNabb and McNair into the same group with Moon.
Warren Moon is one of the best QBs to ever play in the NFL period. CFL too. He could handle any offensive system. Moon also threw one of the best looking spirals ever.
Steve Steele imagine if Moon played in the NFL at the same level just 6 years earlier without the CFL. He would've played 23 years. He'd be named with guys like Marino and Favre

I remember when the cast of Saturday Night Live (when it was still funny and relevant) had the Vikings QB Fran Tarkington on the show, at a time when there had never been a black QB. The skit had one of the "not-ready-for-primetime" players asking him why this was so. His scripted answer had him saying that they couldn't find 10 guys to turn their backs on a black QB, and he added "especially in a night game!". Funny as hell at the time but by no stretch of the imagination could they get away with that today!
Imagine if say in 1980 or 81 an NFL team took a chance, and got Moon out of the CFL? Say Tampa Bay? Houston? The Colts? The Jets? Moon would have had every NFL passing record.

Cunningham is probably one of the greatest athlete of all time that never gets mentioned outside of scrambling. I mean look at him: Height, wingspan, one of the strongest arms , had track speed, one of the punters, and probably could play wide out or punt return tbh. If he played back in the early days he would be like Sammy Baugh. Shame he could’ve reached height of Michael Jordan, Barry Bonds or Ken Griffey!

some races are faster and stronger and more athletic on average, some other races are more intelligent and skill oriented on average .
