This type of pump does not need coupling alignment because the alignment was set by the motor frame itself. If you want to see how to check motor alignment, please see my uploaded content in this link th-cam.com/video/d7BhIIVQYrk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ahz235OXvTm1Qvby
Sir..I have a silly question. I saw in learning there is the bearing after mechanical seal . But there is none in your video. Can you please tell me where is the bearing?
In general, Ball bearings and bronze sleeve bearings are used together for the longer shaft (e.g Fire & GS pump), Shorter shaft use only bronze sleeves bearings. In my video, the shaft bronze bearing was replaced. You may watch again between 01:50 to 02:50 minutes of this video.
This type of pump has a groove on the shaft for M-seal spring retaining ring. If there is no groove like this, You should measure the distance of M- seal before removing it from the shaft.
5:11 u removed oil seal sir. i only know mechanical seal has 2 parts. 1) rotating 2) stationary. my question is, from where oil seal came? i dont understand 😢 sorry for my poor knowledge.
Bravo Chief 🇬🇷
@@ilias-c2d Thank you!
Good work!
Thank you!

thank you for video
You're welcome!
Anong type po ng impeller yan sir na. ginamit s ganyang kalaking Pump motor po
This impeller is used for centrifugal pump 250m3/hr
Very good video
Thank you!
Hi , very nice video, what's the make and model of the pump?
Thanks for you comment! Maker is Shin Shin Machinery (Korea) and model is DB250/300VID. Capacity 610 m3/hr.
Do u guys carry out alignment of motor shaft coupling with respect to pump coupling if yes plz make a video on that

i want to ask a question: how do you align the distance between mechanical seals stationary and rotary part?
This type of pump has a groove on the shaft for M-seal spring retaining ring. If there is no groove like this, You should measure the distance of M- seal before removing it from the shaft.
If you watch my gear pump overhaul video, you will see I measured distance of the retaining ring.

You're right. M-seal has only stationery and rotary ring. Oil seal is not a part of mechanial seal. It comes separately.
