Sir , if condenser section is open for cleaning and after assembling how to test it for leakage?
You have to insert blind plate to the S.W feeding to the evaporator side or close the valve for it (if provided) to prevent S.W overflowing from evaporator. Then, open S.W in/out valves for condenser and run S.W pump. Check whether S.W leaks from condenser.

This generator does not use air distributor. It uses air motor to start the engine.
Do u guys carry out alignment of motor shaft coupling with respect to pump coupling if yes plz make a video on that

Thanks for you comment! Maker is Shin Shin Machinery (Korea) and model is DB250/300VID. Capacity 610 m3/hr.

In my last ship's one of the generator had the same thing but it was due to turbine wash water got accumulated in the exhaust stack and back flow due to non drainage of the water.
In my opinion, turbine waterwash is less effective and carries more risks. Water is usually carried over into cyl. head due to the drain blockage. During my onboard period, I do not let waterwash for sure.
What is the fault? Cylinder liner cracked ? Please mention make of the engine, is it YANMAR 6 N280? or Ningbo diesel?
It's Yanmar M200L-EN...The water leaked from exhaust valve seat O-ring.

@@sanyuwin9965 spare မမှန်။ အိုနေပြီဆို ဖြစ်နေမှာပဲ ညီလေးရေ..valve seat size မမှန်တာ...head ကျယ်လာတာ...O-ring ပြတ်တာ အစုံပဲ။ Locktite သုတ်ထည့် O-ring size ကြီးတာလေး ထည့် အဲ့လို နဲ့ ဖြေရှင်းရတာပဲ။ ဖြစ်တတ်တာသိရင်တော့ မမောင်းခင် air blow သေချာလုပ်ပြီး မှ အမြဲမောင်းပါ။ မဟုတ်ရင် နောက်ဆက်တွဲ ပိုရှင်းရမယ်။
