A betting fool, a gambling man
No sooner up you're down again
Mama said you won't get hurt
Don't play the cards, you won't get burned
But there's a place where I still win
But there's no money in this thing
The game of hearts puts me in spades
The only game I got it made
Oh, I'm lucky in love!
Yes, I've got the winning touch
Lucky in love!
Suddenly, I'm dangerous
I'm betting on a filly down at the track
A natural-born winner, that's a fact
A hundred yards from the winning post
The horse fell down, must seen a ghost
But there's a place where I still win
That is still my sure-fire thing
I will play the jack of spades
You play the queen, I'll play the knave
Oh, I'm lucky in love!
Yes, I've got the winning touch
Lucky in love!!
Suddenly, I'm dangerous
I know it's a mystery when the numbers come up
'Cause mathematics is Greek to me
But I'm lucky, I'm lucky, I'm lucky in love
Yeah, Las Vegas at night at the roulette wheel
Yeah, Monte Carlo try to cut a deal
Atlantic City, I lose at craps
Back in London try to win in back
And late at night I lay in bed
With a pistol to my head
Swear I couldn't take no more
And in she walks right through my door
Oh, I'm lucky in love!
When I think I've had enough
Lucky in love!
Yes, I've got the winning touch
Suddenly, I'm dangerous
Yes I'm lucky, Yes I'm lucky
Yes I'm lucky, yes I'm lucky
Yes I'm lucky, yes I'm lucky
Lucky with the ladies
Thank God for the ladies
Otherwise, I'd go, I'd go crazy
How about a line of credit
For say, ten thousand dollars?
Eighteen on the red
Put me, put me home to bed
Yes I'm lucky, yes I'm lucky
Yes I'm lucky, yes I'm lucky
Yes I'm lucky, yes I'm lucky
Lucky with the ladies
I'm sitting here with a full house
I just can't believe I'll lose out on this
Okay! Okay! Your ten thousand and ten thousand more
You want to raise me, you want to raise me? How about this?
Twenty thousand and twenty thousand more
Okay! You want to see me? Well I got, I got a full house
What's that? A royal flush?
Well, ain't that a bust, I'm broke! - เพลง

@@ConnieLynchitzWhoElseit's not his best, but the first thing you think when you hear those licks is, that's Jeff!!
Fun fact: this video was shot at Fluminense FC in Rio de Janeiro.
I think I saw the young Mario Bittencourt on the casino scene 😂 Salão Nobre das Laranjeiras is beautiful!
I remember this as a kid. Back when Mtv actually played music videos!
ha ha
I was 11 at the time. It was a great time to be a kid! 😁
Exactly.
@dmzabo3914 yes! What the hell is MTV doing now? They need to rename it because it certainly isn't about music videos anymore and the 29 minute commercials got to be unbearable too 😑 😫 😒
“Suddenly I’m dangerass!”
Brilliant. Love Jagger.
"I'm lucky in love
Yes, I got the winning touch"
Of course you do, Mick!
Great song :-)
Some songs just pop into my head and then I have to hear them. This is the one that popped today.

I love this tune! I love the last bit when he's like "I just can't lose out on this! Ya wanna see me? I got a Full House! What's that? A Royal Flush? Well, aint that a bust! I'm broke!"
This video is awesome!! I saw Mick Jagger live in 1988 and he did a great version of this song. He also gave me a high five when he ran through the crowd.
did you wash your hand....lol
cool man!
2024 absolute classic that I can 110% relate to
У Джаггера порой были отличные сольные проекты
One of Mick’s best songs ever!!! I love the original version, but this version is EVERYTHING!!! The additional keyboard punches, background vocals and other nuggets made this a smash. Awesome video as well. A brutally underrated song and album.
Awesome song. Jagger and Jeff Beck
Always loved this for many reasons including the great bass line...
Never seen Mick with ponytail anywhere before!
Cool solo track and video!
HAVENT SEEN THIS SINCE THE 80'S
We all should be so lucky ,.Mick is the man !!👍💯
Gotta love the dude. The first $5 LP I ever bought was get yer Ya yas out. And it’s never faded. I’m gonna listen right now

Qual ano foi ? 1985 ?
It's end of 1984....
I wish Mick Jagger and Jeff Beck should collaborate more.
There is already too much violence in the world!
I wish Eric Clapton had worked with the Stones more often.
*Seriously cool song!!* Love the black & white
scenes at the horse race with all those men
gesturing the odds! 🏇💵
Micks solo album is awesome, it got lost in time, but it's time to make it available again, vinyl is for collectors and probably more people would like to have this album
I still have it in vinyl
Who couldn't love this song man?!?
Mick is awesome
Great song. And yes......Mick is a real talent, a true star...one of the greatest ever!
Was on the PA at HEB .(laredo tx)...I was wow an honest blast from the past...looked this and RS cover of the nite....she was hot .....on repeat....patrick
I saw this video many times back in the 80s. I pretty much forgot about this song until today when they played it on the radio. It brought the video back to my mind. Now, it makes me very emotional.
That little boy is as adorable as Mick is in this video and still to this day. Such Charm XXX. Truly liked the Film.
Thank you Mr. Jagger, your songs makes us feel better
Mick Jagger and Jeff Beck underrated treasure !!
Indeed. Mick is prob the most versatile rock figure in rock history and likewise the Stones are the most versatile band in rock history. You want blues, country, maybe a little punk, reggae, soul, how bout a ballad to bring a tear to your eye? Or maybe you just want straight up R&B a little rough around the edges(?). Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones can do it all. That’s why they’ve remained relevant for almost 60 years !!!
@@williamscheer1481 yes, Mic and Keith maybe the most eclectics composers.
@@williamscheer1481 finally someone who gets it! Stones4ever .
Mick hit #38 in Billboard, 6-1-85. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

No love left.... Be lucky and win!
suddenly I'm dangerous....Respect Jagger
I love this white scarf is put on Mick, hehehee... big Song...Mick Jagger ~SUPERSTAR ~★★★ !!! LOL !
lol at the doorman at the start..mwhaha golden....80s decade was the BEST! new times are crazy weak, for weazels, we rocked and had fun in the 80s!
This had less to do with the 1980's and everything to do with the Rolling Stones. Read the playbook.
it was still in the 80s, wich was awesome bro!
yea- best minor character ---
with that sound, it had ALOT to do with the 80's.
Play the knave...that's polite English for a Puto...
HIS VOICE IS AWESOME!
One of life's most precious echo lessons happens to be about 'being lucky' ...YES !
Brilliant Video,Mick with so much swag winning touch all thru life the World 🌎 knows over and Lucky In Love he finds it gets it when he wants.Energitic frontman and the voice does it to be one of the great Artists he's up there.Hes 42 here hard to believe heart of the 80s 1985❤ my era starting what the World was doin and happening. To be blessed and part of the greatest decade of all time never to forget miss it so much oh hail the 80s atmosphere could harp on and explain vibes and feelings like no other time or place in history
Go on Sir Mick! This classic takes me way back. Would be great to have a pint at the Roebuck one day with the man who composed much of the soundtrack of my life.
entered Billboard April 27, 1985 ..reached #38 reached #5 on Rock chart
Good song. Forget the haters. I looked this song up just now after not hearing it for 25 years or so. What a good memory I have. :)
Yep. I was 25 when this song hit the charts and I remember some of the “purist” Stones fans bitchin and moanin about “goin on a solo flight”. I thought “piss on them” and the fact that this song and all three of Micks solo albums have stood the test of time proves me right and those naysayers wrong. Hey Keith did a solo album and it was awesome as well ! Ronnie and Keith had a little side band called The Expensive Whinos so ya…It’s All Good😊 👍
SIR MICK JAGGER FOREVER! LONG LIVE MICK JAGGER!
Y'all are crazy. This song rules!
Он не только солист,он артист.Почему его нет в фильмах,очень колоритен.Энергетика бьёт фонтаном,редкий дар.
He HAS been a actor in films
this is actually a cool little tune. It's obvious Jagger wanted a departure from the sound of the Stones, and that's completely understandable considering he had been doing that style (at the time of this release) for over 20 years. If he had come out with a blues based straight ahead 4 on the floor rock album people would have complained that it sounded just like the Stones. I think Jagger realized you can't win with a lot of people, so he just did what he felt like doing at the time. I like it
Some Girls was the album of which the Stones really made a departure from being a tried and true blues based rock band and took a different approach after Mick had moved to Manhattan and hit the night life club scene, thus being exposed to a variety of music. This is even more evident on the Lucky in Love solo effort.
Just for a few laughs he said. He wanted to show a comic side of himself. Gotta admit he had me laughing in this video.
@@jim6820 its comic genius: and he is sending himself up deliciously, of course. It takes bottle to parody your own failures: he gets away with it.
His solo albums aren't as popular with the masses as "The Stones," but, I liked the departure or, separation that he attained in his solo offerings.
@@williamscheer1481Some Girls has a little punk rock and disco influence, just like this has an 80s synthpop influence, similar to Thriller or Let's Dance
Hadn't heard this in a very long time.....always liked Jeff Beck's guitar playing here....
Weasels musta ripped your flesh!!!!!!
When MTV was music.....patrick
💙 ya Mr. Jagger!! I named my kitty Jagger.
I wonder what it's like to be lucky in love 💔
While the HACKNEY DIAMONDS PR fills the media, this morning I suddenly thought about this hilarious heartbreaking song and video footage...❤

Never loved this song but its been stuck in my head since the 80s
Maybe if it stays in there another 30 years you’ll eventually learn to like it. Sorry, couldn’t resist 😬
Yes that is Mr. Jeff Beck playing the perfect guitar.
What a great song! He does have 'the winnin' touch!'
("Jeff Beck" was v)ery patient. And very hard-working. I went home at like 2 in the morning, and he was still there. That's not bad.
*_Mick Jagger, 1984_*
Jeff Beck really wailed pretty good on the guitar 🎸 solos here.
brings back memories. i loved this album when it came out
Man believe it or not I heard this on the radio around 1980 and I cant remember hearing it again
Song did not come out until 1985

A loyal fan. Lucky in love.
Man, Mick at this time was still youthful looking. The b & w clips in the video make look like he was circa early 60's.
To the memory of Jeff who played the guitar at this song.He passed away a few days ago.RIP.😭
