One of my favorite songs by the Rolling Stones, everything so perfect here: ingenious lyrics, singing and mastering of guitars and drums. First heard it in the sixties when I was a teenager and still enjoy it a lot in my old days.
C'est sûr, le plus symbolique pendant 7 ans sur 62 ans de carrière ça me paraît un peu léger tout de même ! Le reste on le doit à Jagger Richards Charlie et sur une longue période Bill 😊
@@donjennings9034 It could be applied to the actual political situations of so many countries, include wars. It's what i call to make a transfer between an individual desease and a global one.
When this was first released it was an instant huge hit; the Stones were evolving with "different" sounds and lyrics. I've never seen this video ...Thanks!
It was just the times really rather than Brian's influence as he didn't write this. They were younger and their music has evolved over the years, they've done everything, blues, country, disco, punk, hard rock, soft ballads. They've made some of the greatest music ever in many different eras and genres
The best times was with Brian, they could never get back the true music of the stones without him. They now have so many extra playing plus singing but back in the 60s the stones were 5 of them and they did not need others, thanks to the talented Brian Jones
They where six with Ian Stewart on Piano. The "true music" of the Stones began when Brian stoppt playing with them. Then they recorded masterpieces like "Beggars Banquet" and "Let It Bleed" that defined the Stones music till now.
Thanks Cynthia I’m from the UK so that’s exactly what I was wondering. Funny having such a docile, policed audience but guess that’s how it was in the 60’s
@@TimG1 I'm pretty sure that no true stereo version of the song has ever been released. On the UK Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) vinyl I bought in the early 80s, this and other songs which never got true stereo mixes (like 'Satisfaction' and 'Get Off of My Cloud') came in "Electronically processed stereo" (or Duophonic) mixes. Personally, I liked 'em much better than the 'proper' mono mixes - they sounded more apocalyptic! With the advent of CDs, none of these duophonic mixes got re-released except for on a Russian bootleg of 'Big Hits'. The version on this page is a fan's own stereo mix. I've no idea how they do it but, like the fake stereo/duophonic mixes, I prefer it to the original mono.

Was introduced to this when punk was coming up. Still prefer the Stones to any punk rock!
One of the best Rolling Stones songs 🎙️🎼🎸
You should be death not to hear the difference :)
I really enjoy watching and hearing all of the parts that Brian Jones played in the early Stones songs. He was a very talented guy.
@@leeroberts8114 I know. He named the band. Too bad he had a drug problem. He was an amazing talent.
Brian Jones was the true heart of the 1960s Stones, easily the most talented musician of the band.
He was also very tormented and perplexed 🥲
He was forced out by Andrew Loog Oldham and the Glimmers.
He couldn’t write songs….at all
One of the best Stone's song.
Mick Jagger's words with Keith Richards' guitar and Wyman's bass, Brian's Bo Diddley rhythm, and Charlie on drums, why the Stones were a great band.
Great sterophonic version! The headphone separation is great!
Pas de doute, Brian est vraiment le stone le plus symbolique !!!
For sure, my favorite one!!!
C'est sûr, le plus symbolique pendant 7 ans sur 62 ans de carrière ça me paraît un peu léger tout de même ! Le reste on le doit à Jagger Richards Charlie et sur une longue période Bill 😊
Wow its great in stereo ! Salute!
This video is criminally under voted / viewed. Perfect track for today's US elections!

There is nothing that can touch this band and their music
Keep her lit Mick
The Beatles…then The Stones…
When this was first released it was an instant huge hit; the Stones were evolving with "different" sounds and lyrics. I've never seen this video ...Thanks!
This was filmed at the Channel 9 studios, Artarmon, Sydney Australia in 1965. Channel 9 was then owned by Frank Packer, father of Kerry Packer.
I love the MSS guard at 1:48. It could only have been in Australia.
Energy and charisma always off the chart
C'est fou!!!!! À cet âge là il ne savaient pas qu'à 81 ans ils seraient encore sur scène !!!!
C'est tout simplement irréel !!!!😊❤
Never knew what they were saying. Saw the title on my car radio today😂
Uno de los clasicos RStones, cuando todavía eran The Rolling Stones, con Paint in Black,y I,m Free,su mejor época!!!!
Thanks! Made my speakers come to life!
What a SOUND !!!!!!!😊🙂😀😃😄😆
Fantastic Playback
Yes, 1965 they couldn't have such a good sound live.
Neponovljivi,neprevazidjeni fantastični Stounsi ,vi ste u mom srcu,volim vas.❤❤❤❤❤
❤
Still works for me after 60 Years 😊
Great job, Catherine! And tonight, I’m gonna listen to it live at Milan!
I'm gonna see them in Amsterdam ! Enjoy Milan

Soo great. Before that they did more C Berry covers. So developed. Thanks
Good Lord... this song is SOOOOOO an anthem of my teen years 😅 not sure why but the memories flood back in my mind... from my "Misspent Youth"..LOL😂
My very favorite Rolling Stones song …….
This was my absolute favorite Stones song! 😅😅
rest in peace Charlie watts a stones legend this is sure great and thanks for a excellent upload 💯👍🎵🎶🎸
With those big poutinglips, Mick reminds me of Dutch comedian André van Duin, wha ha! 🙂
I LOVE the Stones ❤❤❤❤❤❤
As músicas dos Rolling Stones quando tinham o Brian Jones realmente eram melhores, era um rock mais agradável.

Where the hell did he come from?
Dad shot up a lot of the SS squads ,and hung some too. I have a rope for you if you want it ❓

Minions bought me here!
I've never seen anyone move like Jagger, it's hilarious
Mick looking for Jagger and finally found him :)

It ain’t the real/actual audio from dis live video. I hate when things are misrepresented…….
Open your eyes, it's not live here.

Excellent! What release is this from?
looks like American Bandstand...see the background
@@cynthiadyson4179 Thanks, Cynthia but I was referring to the audio not the video. The audio is a stereo studio recording. Cheers!

Australian guard behind, so probably Australian TV show.
Choice
This must be 1920 because in 1939 when the Wizard of Oz came out film had been perfected, seemingly.
The appeal of this is everyone’s contributing to the song and Micks not mincing around in leotards.
Класс!!!
No Jones No Stones
No mention of the first 18
Crazy song from crazy people
No wonder the magistrates
Called them children of the devil at their drug trial!
mick should just watch this video, and remember he doesn't have to jog all over the stage like he does now days.
The matter is that stages became bigger and bigger.
Only Brian Jones❤
What show was this?!
Bandstand in Australia 1965. Channel 9 Studios, Artarmon.
I would always prefer Taylor to Jones in the line up.
Taylor Splift 🤡
Stereo is better ty😁😁😁
Nothing I do don't seem to work. The bad grammar is appropriate for frustrated contradictions.
Good song but i dont THINK this LIVE the record
These comments about the musicians don't have a clue about the words, the meaning of the song. Typically men😢
You are so correct 💯
Brian was the coolest Stone.
G
Young mick is very viagra-ish 😅
Un se
This is what... late 1966? It already looks like Brian is not even part of the band. The plot was already under way.
He IS there-that's him playing guitar on the left!
The nefarious plot. Was it really the master plan of the Glimmer Twins? Or just an accident waiting to happen?
Nonsense. Just a projection.
Yeah, I know. I don’t think you comprehend what I am saying.
@@rogerdeisenhardt5589 Do you? Explain.
Gee, weren’t they good at miming - mostly.
Sad that after Brian died that Wood didn't join up . 😎
Why is that sad? Mick Taylor was amazing!
This is fake ...great lip sync ..YaY
Brian could not sing😊
And that didn't matter because he played harmonica better than mick.
Have the live version of this to match the video?
It's not live.
A pop group, whereas Led Zeppelin are on a higher level of their OWN. (At 1:48- HERMANN GOERING!! And everyone thought he was dead.)
amazing how they sound great without guitars being plugged in?.
Not live
